Three Lazy Rich EPs

By now if you're an electro house fan you should be very familiar with the name Lazy Rich. I first found out about lazy rich through Miles Dyson's remix of his song Don't think about me. He's been making banger after banger, and should really be a part of any recent electro house set. In many ways I feel as though Mr. Rich has surpassed my former top Miles Dyson. These aren't the newest but they are in 320 and they are complete.

Get More Lazy Rich here, here, here, here, here

I should just do a big lazy Rich compilation post.

-J

All 320:

Ghosts (original Mix) by Lazy Rich, it's called ghosts. You know it's gonna be cool. But then Again I like Ghosts.

Ghosts (Costello Remix) by Lazy Rich, What BBR was trying to do and failed. should take a leaf out of Costello's book. Hits harder then the one above in a sense. It's just more grungy I guess.

Ghosts EP, this has some really amazing remixes. Defintiely get this.

No More Games (Original Mix) by Lazy Rich and Cassandra Nantel, Golden Banana Winner

No More Games EP, the remixes on here aren't as good as the Ghost Eps, but still definitely worth getting.

Lost So Deep (Original Mix) by Lazy Rich, Not a new track at all, but you know, I decided to put it up anyways.

Lost So Deep EP, all this has on it is another remix by lazy Rich which I find to be calmer then the original. Still cool though.

Some Loops for Christmas

Well it's almost Christmas time, so I've decided to give everybody a gift. In my time producing there have been many occasions where I have just decided to go on a hunt for sample packs and listen through all of them in the search mostly for percussion and interesting fx. I think I've done this at least 10 times, and to date I think I've only used one of my searches in my actual production (some refills that I will post in the next post). Well this time is really no different then any other, but yesterday I decided to go on a hunt for some sample packs created by the "award winning" Loopmasters. I've decided to share the wealth of what I've found, in case you may need it or want it. Most likely I won't end up using any of this.

Now I really only look through these things for individual hits. So though I've uploaded 4 sample packs (or it might be 3 with one split in two), I've taken out all the loops that come with it. I don't need loopmasters to write a bass line for drum beat for me. I'll figure that out on my own, and if it's not good then oh well, at least it was mine. So bare in mind when taking these that there are (or should be) no predone loops. If you want predone loops, go buy the packs or you can simply go to most torrent sites and find these anyways. They are not hard to find really, but I guess I'm saving you the trouble.

If anybody does go through the trouble of going through these as I have, I would love to hear your input on what your favorite wavs were.

This sucks

Robbie Rivera's album closer to the sun sucks. Plain and simple. There are some ok songs like I'm a badass and Rock the Disco... but really what the hell... And that hit single closer to the sun sucks too. Departures is the best song on the album by far, and even that is kinda boring. A lot of it sounds like shitty indie rock with house vocals, and horribly done electro. Not a single song I really like that much.

At the same time however I don't really know much Robbie Rivera that I really like. Let's think... wait there's nothing.

Ultimate Fail, one of the worst of 2009.

-J

Here's the album, don't get excited. Golden Banana Loser. If Robbie Rivera was in mario kart, he would have slipped on a banana peal (maybe a golden banana peal) and lost the fucking race.

Here's what should have happened:

Closer to the sun (Inpetto Dub) by Robbie Rivera, saves the song. Notice it's a dub. I don't usually put up dubs, I like cheesy house vocals, but you have to for this song.

Hatiras EP is fucking crazy

So let's throw this Hatiras EP out there. You know me, I take forever to post occasionally and I don't always post the newest shit. This is because we really like doing artist features here. But also more recently I admit to not be listening to as much new music as I should be. I've come to really enjoy fully listening to specific songs in order to better know them for when I dj. I feel as though listening to too much music can muffle that in some ways, at least for me with such a bad memory. But here's a few hot tracks I liked in my recent listenings:

Hatiras' The New Disco EP, is fucking great. Really interesting more funky house stuff. Really adding a cool twist to it. GET ON THIS:

-J

Digital Doom 2010 by Hatiras, You'll understand why it's called digital doom when you listen to it. It has that sort of stress like feel to it. But it's fuckin cool. Got that choppy feel to it.

1, 2, 3 by Hatiras, definitely feels more traditional french house, it's got sick written all over it.

I Don't Want it by Hatiras, Golden Banana winner, definitely my favorite on the EP. I think this one hits the hardest, and this has more of the newer french house revival sound to it. Think Louis La Roche. Really well produced.

Been There Dub That

Just made a new Dubstep mix. Although I'm definitely a House DJ to the core, I'm really enjoying mixing Dubstep. In some ways you can get away with more because mixing one trippy sound over another tends to work, and key isn't as important, though I made an effort in this mix to be on key. I just wish I could play this stuff here at school, I emptied half of the room last time I tried it. That said, the other half got fuckin DOWN. Anyways, enjoy, and if you missed my last Dubstep mix and wanna cop it you can do so HERE.

-M

Been There Dub That - Bastille

Tracklist
White Collar Grime - Mistabishi
Louder VIP - Caspa (Golden Banana)
Glamorous Death Energy - Dubtek
Watch Yours Eyes - Ed Solo
I'm Not Your Toy (Nero Remix) - La Roux
When I Look At You - Emalkay (Silver Banana)
Samurai (Rusko 'Safe Sex' Remix) - Marco Del Horno
Station Six - Downlink
Wayfaring Stranger (Burial Mix) - Jamie Woon

Vini Vidi Avicii

AwB favorite Avicii has absolutely destroyed 2009 and is definitely my favorite producer of the year. He's put out a few new tracks recently along with Sebastien Drums (what an awful name, and the last thing we need is another Sebastien/an, there are already far too many). Enough talk, more track.

*ALL LINKS REMOVED

-M

Pastis (Original Mix) - Sebastien Drums, Avicii
Big big big big Progressive track. +10 Bastille Love and Admiration points for whoever recognizes the acapella used in the middle, just write it in the comments.

My Feeling For You - Sebastien Drums & Avicii
Taking a classic sample, already used by French House gods Cassius, and making it big room. I approve, though I still prefer the original.

Even (Original Mix) - Avicii & Sebastien Drums
Another big room Prog track. The remixes are better.

Even (Angger Dimas Remix) - Sebastien Drums, Avicii (Golden Banana)
One of those tracks that just reminds you why you love Progressive House.

Even (Mad'ness & Yuri Funky Dub Mix) - Sebastien Drums & Avicii
Still prog, but it's got a sort of Electroy take on it, I think it hits much harder that the original.

Do You Smell Bacon?

Plenty of New Yorkers will tell you that the NYPD are corrupt as hell. I personally had a pretty bad experience with them once when I was DJing a party on a rooftop which they came and shut down. They said that people were throwing bottles of the rooftop, but the party wasn't serving any beer. The cop also threatened to take away all of my equipment. In honor of this lovely experience, I bring you an amazing track called NYPD with some really top notch remixes. I know I'm a little bit late on these, but I just got to them in my downloads folder, and they're fantastic.

Big shout out to The Temple Of House

-M

NYPD (Original Mix) - DJ Delicious & Till West
What makes this song so great is the sampling. Really classic House sound to it too, which I really like.

NYPD (Micha Moor Remix) - DJ Delicious & Till West
(Golden Banana)
HUGE bass drop. Definitely my favorite mix.

NYPD (Funkerman Remix) - DJ Delicious & Till West
Just sort of beefed up the original, and added a bit more of a Prog feel.

NYPD (Alisson & Turner Remix) - DJ Delicious & Till West
I like the drums in this one a lot, but I probably would rather play one of the other mixes live. They also added this high sound, which I think they're sort of relying on too much as the hook.

20 November 2009

Some of the simpler things:

Don't you just wish you could wake up to this every morning. hahaha. My God I have found the funniest and yet best song ever. It's Hilarious:

-J

Brain Box (Marlo Remix) by Ferry Corsten, Golden Banana winner. Hands down. You'll understand when you listen to it. You just have to appreciate this.

Life (Patrick Plaice Remix) by Ferry Corsten, Silver Banana winner. Very cool. The first drop is cool, but I gotta say I really love the second one.

Hate Myself (Sasha Remix) by Pole Folder, Fantastic, really amazing. A master at work.

Everywhere by John Dahlback, More minimal then he has recently been, but still amazing. Fantastic job. He is just on a rampage but I guess he has been for quite some time.

I'm also gonna add two let's get bleeped remixes that we missed in our other post:

Let's get bleeped tonight (Don Rimini Remix) by Dada Life, great more electro take on it. really like this one.

Let's get bleeped Tonight (Mustard Pimp Remix) by Dada Life, also very good more electro take on the song, don't miss either one.

and just to add one more electro song in the mix:

Cops (IllStM & Zal Remix) by Mightfools, kiiiiiiillllliiinnn it

Owl Vision

I don't really know much about Owl Vision, but I posted a track of his in an Electro Batch about two months ago (HERE), and I guess he saw that because he emailed us about his upcoming album. In the email, he included a little teaser, which I figured I'd post up here, along with some tracks. He makes a really intense breed of Electro, which is some aspects reminds me of Shadow Dancer but just way more intense/distorted.

-M

Leprozy Teaser - Owl Vision

Darkness (Owl Vision Remix) - Owl Vision
It's like strobe lights are going off in my mind.

Darkness - Owl Vision
I like the remix more, but this is still pretty dope.

Always More (Shadow Dancer Remix) - autoKratz
For the sake of comparison. This is definitely housier.

Ken he do it?

Oh my god, this pictures makes my life complete. Incredible. Alex Kenji or Alessandro Bacci is a British dj that has been spinning and producing for over ten years under numerous pseudonyms (Yoshie Chandler, Combo, Green Sugar, HouseLovers, D.L.D., Orange Love, Kaiko, Itchy Bit and many others), but as far as I know he's definitely become biggest under Alex Kenji. This guy's got that tech feel, gotta love it. Up and coming producer, looking forward to what this guy does.

-J

Tropical Chicks (Original Mix) by Alex Kenji, really amazing. Golden Banana Winner

Volviendo Loco (Original Mix) by Alex Kenji, Silver Banana. you know it's good if it's won that.

Trail of Nomads (Alex Kenji Remix) by Desert Dwellers, so fucking tight.

Assou Mama (Alex Kenji Remix) by Stylus Robb

Let the Sun Shine (Alex Kenji Remix) by Milk & Sugar, you guys gotta know the original song.

Adelante (Original Mix) by Alex Kenji

M was right in that his songs are very similar in nature. But I enjoy his style so I definitely approve and give a thumbs up.

Collection of 16 songs Zipped.

M's Addtions (6 tracks), but I'll put my favorite two up top

Acid (Alex Kenji Remix) - Muttonheads
Electro House, gotta love it

Masonry

This got dropped in our inbox today, and it's fucking awesome. You may already be familiar with Mason, and if you are then you're probably already excited to be reading this. Some new tracks, enjoy:

-M

Who Killed Trance (AnimaL Language) - Mason (Golden Banana)
Massive track here. Best described as Prog meets Electro meets Nu Disco. Really pretty track with a kick that would destroy a rave.

Ignite - Mason
Super dark, minimal Techno, couldn't be more different than the first track. The last drop would EXPLODE at a rave.

Who Killed Trance Refurb - Mason
Really cool 8-bit interpretation of the first track. Really took me by surprise how awesome it is.

BONUS:
Perfect (Exceeder) [Club Mix] - Mason vs. Princess Superstar
The reason these dudes are as big as they are. One of the tracks that defines Electro House to me.

Let's Get Bleeped Tonight

Hell yes. My favorite track off of the latest Dada Life album has been released with a bunch of great remixes. In case you missed it, check out our interview with these dudes HERE. It seems like they're starting to do much better for themselves, as they're on tour with none other than Tiesto right now, but Laidback Luke was totally right in naming them as most underrated DJs of 2009. These dude's have been tearing shit up for a while, they should be HUGE. All tracks 320.

-M

Let's Get Bleeped Tonight (12 Edit) - Dada Life
The extended of the original. Fantastic Electro bass in this.

Let's Get Bleeped Tonight (Moguai Remix) - Dada Life
Definitely more Progressive in this one, just a more beefed up version of the original.

Let's Get Bleeped Tonight (Albin Myers Remix) - Dada Life
This one's all Progressive. For Ravers, not hipsters.

Let's Get Bleeped Tonight (Phatzoo Remix) - Dada Life
Dutch House, tribal drums, you should know what to expect by now.

Let's Get Bleeped Tonight (Tiesto Remix) - Dada Life
The dude's been moving more towards Electro in recent tracks. This one's got a hoover too. Still that signature trancey sound though.

BONUS:
Under the Water (Dada Life Remix) - Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike (Golden Banana)
HOLY SHIT! What a fucking banger. Honestly, this is probably the best track in this post.

Also, check out this hilarious David Guetta fuck up. Twice.

McCartney II

Got a real treat for you today, and this one comes with a story, and it's clearly dedicated to one of our newer readers that calls himself The Worst Beatle. So, last night Yeasayer came to play here, and it was incredible. They really put on an amazing live show, and I encourage everyone to see them live. Anyways, after the show, we're hanging out with some of the members in my friends room and one of them has got his iPod hooked up to the speakers and is play a bunch of random, weird music that was really cool. Anyways, a track comes on that spurs me to ask, "is this Kraftwerk?" to which he replies, "Paul McCartney." Despite the entire room staring at him in disbelief, he puts on a few tracks from a solo record this Beatle made in 1980. The only way to really describe this record is to picture an 80's McCartney getting incredbily stoned in a studio and experimenting with it, including the use of synthesizers. I know that everyone's at least curious enough to check this out. Oh yeah, and it's in 320.

-M

Check My Machine - Paul McCartney
It's almost like a mix between Blues and Hip-hop, with a banjo copious amounts of delay.

Temporary Secretary - Paul McCartney
This was the one that made me think Kraftwerk, at least until the vocals came in.

McCartney II - Paul McCartney
This is the whole album.

Alex Metric System?

I love Alex Metric almost as much as I love puns, whether they're brilliant or just plain awful. He's a Brit that makes awesome Electro and I believe has some affiliation with Radio 1. His remixes are seriously top notch, and if you're up on your Electro there's a pretty good chance you've already got at least one. And on that note, here are some more:

-M

Deadly On A Mission (Alex Metric Mix) - Alex Metric (Golden Banana)
This self remix is absolutely incredible. The hook is so catchy, you'll find yourself singing along to this one for a long time to come.

Lisztomania (Alex Metric Remix) - Phoenix (Silver Banana?)
Slower than I'd like for a set, but my god this remix is amazing. Probably my favorite remix of any Phoenix track, and I know there are a bunch.

All The Cash (Alex Metric Remix) - Evil Nine
This just reminds me of the time when all I listened to was Electro and there was nothing else, none of that 'gay euro house shit.' Boy how times have changed, but I still appreciate the nostalgia.

One More Chance (Alex Metric Remix) - Bloc Party
Just another great remix to add to the list.

MONO/POLY

Los Angeles based Psychedelic Beat-Maker MONO/POLY is probably one of the best up and coming LA beatmakers right now, however just a little while ago he was struggling to get started as a musician while trying to get through college, but finally with help from the Brainfeeder crew is entering the limelight to get a chance to release some of the fantastic music which he has been making, My interest in MONO/POLY started after hearing a mix of his a while back, which although still some what amateurish at the time (he hasn't been DJing that long, but if you listen to his Mary Anne Hobbs mix below you'll see hes signifigantly improved), still managed to win me over because of the production and how he somehow dropped a Vitalic song in the mix along the way, his style of psych hip-hop stuff is really electro tinged funkyness with hard hitting, fantastic sounds the likes of which Oizo and early HudMo would love. He has a ton of unreleased material, all of which that i've heard is awesome especially his remix of T-Pain and Lil' Wayne's 'Can't Believe It', which i hope will at point see the light of day, in fact i hope we see alot in the next year from MONO/POLY. Here Is His First EP The George Machine, out on Faces Records, along with the fantastic Mary Anne Hobbs Mix he did this last spring. 'Beatles Bitch' takes the cake as far as the best track goes. Enjoy!

Drum & Bass Batch #2

Another selection of Awesome DnB tunes which have piqued my interest lately, found that Apex remix last night on London Elektricity's Myspace, and it totally blew me away, absolutely beautiful vocal track, got me looking for some comparably good material to post along with it, luckily I ended up finding some tracks, hopefully i can find more soon, got to love UK dance music, all the breaks and the wobbly basslines. Makes me hungry for some Fidget&Dubstep as well. And, in case you missed it, you can find #1 of the Drum & Bass batches HERE, Enjoy!>>>

Second Batch

I'm in my Politics class about the Middle East and North Africa, so I decided to put up the next batch.

-J

Toys (Felguk Remix) by Perplex, Golden Bannana Winner, that should be enough for you to know I've been listening to this track on repeat.

Think About The Way by Phatzoo Has a really funny part (acting as a buildup), I'm pretty sure I chuckle every time. But it drops into a cool electro beat.

Run Away (Klaas Remix 2009) by Goldfinger Klaas is back again destroying shit.

Wicked Games (Thomas Gold Dub Mix) by Hot 22 Pure Gold.

P.Y.X. by G.L.O.V.E.S., great song, very Breakbotish. If you like this funky electro stuff you definitely want this.

P.Y.X. (Strip Steve Remix) by G.L.O.V.E.S., a great remix, really brings something different.

Heart To Stay (Original Mix) by Matteo Matteini Some more tech stuff.

Heart To Stay (Lorenzo Bartoletti Remix) by Matteo Matteini Along with a great remix.

Bastian Van Shield, is someone who I've definitely come to respect even though I only have a few songs. I'm hoping to do a post about this guy pretty soon, but until then this track and the great remix of it will be enough. Just get excited for the future post.

At Work (Martin Eigenberg & Tino Heider Remix) by Bastian Van Shield

At Work (Original Mix) by Bastian Van Shield

Just for fun cause this picture that someone posted was funny:

I'm back, let's restart these batches

This weekend. Big game against Michigan this weekend. Get pumped. We have to win this one in order to get into the playoffs. After we win, because Oberlin football is #1, we're gonna chug some brewskies, play some pong, find where the bitties are at, and if worse comes to worse there's always some cube to be played. But I don't deny it's going to be hard with my arm not working so good, they are going to have to rely more on Chase, we are co captain QBs. But it's going to be crazy. GET PUMPPPPPEEEEEDDDDD

-J

La Tromba (Original Mix) by Chris Lake and Lys, It's at the top for a reason, you'll understand. Golden Banana Award Winner

Autumn (Extended Dub) by John Dahlback, if you don't already have this, you need it. Very different from Autumn (extended mix) which we have praised so much in the past but still. It's Dahlback, you know it's amazing.

Valleybrook (Extended Mix) by John Dahlback, Amazing. Just incredible, he's definitely one of the best out there. DON'T MISS THIS ONE.

Lumnox (Nom De Strip Remix) by Dave Spoon, I mean we really should be applauding Dave Spoon for this one, but I like the small adjustments that have been done in this remix.

Dj Fronter Temptation Ep, if you like that techy tech shit, you gots to get on this.

Temptation (Original Mix) by Dj Fronter

Temptation (Steven King Remix) by Dj Fronter

Temptation (Tony 15 Remix) by Dj Fronter

Puntos Y Senales (Original Mix) by KZR, Crazy production. If you want to hear something really trippy, you gotta get this. Amazing production. (LINK FIXED)

Toxic Is Dead (South Central Remix) by Toxic Avenger, I need to eventually post the original too, but this should keep the electro people who for some reason don't already have this satisfied.

Apple Pie (Hippopulation Creamy Remix) by Bit Thief, gotta love it. Fidget should never die.

Sunday Sloth

It's Sunday again, and that means headaches all around. So I figured I slow things down and toss up some awesome tracks that all have those awesome middle sections where the track slows down to a hip-hop beat then speeds right back up. Basically, guaranteed bombs for your DJ sets. Also gonna start a new little convention, you'll probably catch it.

-M

Play That Next Episode (Original Mix) - Avicii (The Golden Banana) (REMOVED)
I mean, you get both an awesome Avicii House track AND fuckin Dr. Dre in one. How could you possibly beat that...?

Jump Around (Deadmau5 Remix) - House Of Pain
Well, you could combine Deadmau5 with House Of Pain, pretty solid combo as well.

Bad Boy For Life (La Mode Remix) - P Diddy
Played this at a gig here recently, and my god everyone just freaked the fuck out. This is definitely one of my favorites to pull out.

Puah (Original Mix) - Gigi Barocco
Have yet to play this, I was thinking of pulling this one out next gig, but I'm probably gonna go with the Avicii, and you can't really play more than of these sorts of tracks at any gig.

Pump Pump (Aniki Edit) - Snoop Dogg
What's especially great about this Fidget banger is that it works great as an intro track to your set, especially if you want to go heavy all the way the through.

Oh Yeah - Spinstyles
This is the only track in this list to slow down to Dub, so if you're more into that then this one's for you.

Let Me Clear My Throat - DJ Kool vs Da Urban Outlaws
Classic. The voice on this would definitely get everyone cheering, but the sampling of the crowd cheering would probably help with that too. You could probably get away with playing this as your second slow down track since its a bit different.

Y'all Know the Name (Flosstradamus Remix) - Jokers of the Scene
Craziness, and it goes into Simon Says by the one and only Pharoahe Monch.

Ring Ring Ring (Club Mix) - Kurd Maverick
Not something I'd play live, a lot more corny. But since it fits the theme I thought I'd post it, still definitely a cool song. More for the Prog House fans.

Butter

It's happened, Psychedelic Future-Pop R&B/Funk, like Outkast's DMT trip after Merlin sends them back in time to Japan in the 1980's , Hudson Mohawke's sound has come a long way in his new album 'Butter', and may surprise a few used to his older work, but you can still see where this sound came from even back during his Heralds of Change days with Mike Slott(think Bopgunn) but this time around it's much brighter and playful. Perhaps one of the strangest albums of 2009, but it has grown to be a favorite of mine, a great step for RnB and the psychedelic scene. Album features Olivier Daysoul and Dam-Funk(LA!) among others. Check it out, if you dont like it the first time through, give it some time. Some breakthrough shit goin' on here, enjoy! >>>

New set, this one's more one the ravey/techy side, first time I've actually recorded a set quite like this. For those of you who were at the Bayit party (or weren't aka Max), this is basically the set I played with a few slight changes. I'll have to admit, I totally ripped off one of these transitions (the one from Stickin' into Lyposuct) from a dope LA-based DJ by the name of Ramses, and you should all check him out, especially his Soundcloud page where you can listen to some of his sets and tracks.

Renaissance Man - Spraycan EP

The first, and exceedingly superior EP, by Swedish House Duo, Renaissance Man, the second of the two, which they released through Sound Pelligrino, Teki&Orgasmic's relatively new label, titled What is Guru, was way overhyped, and honestly not a song/EP i care for very much, overall dissapointing compared to just how mind-blowingly awesome their first release was. Spraycan the song, just drops so incredibly hard, and Haarlem is a total mindfuck of a song, really cool dutch-inspired bass sounds, whole albums very dark and tribal, organic, and minimal, so yeah, it's Swedish Dutch House essentially, i mean a song's called Haarlem and the remix is called Respect to Nassau, so they're not hiding their influences. Remix duty fyi was given to fellow Swede Sharkslayer. Go ahead and grab this>>>

The Messiah!

He's back, and sounding incredible as usual. This track's actually a great mix of his old and new style, and I'm super impressed. In tracks like Firepower, he was lacking the melody that I used to love, but he brings it back in a great way here. Really intricate work with the synths and drums, overall incredible. It even's got a Justin Timberlake sound during the bridge. EVERYONE should be playing this track in their Electro House sets.

It's in 320 too in case you were wondering

French House Arrest Episode XI: 98 Degrees

To finish up the year 1998, I figured that I'd put up some tracks that also came out that year to give a wider perspective on what was happening that year outside of French House in Electronic music. Pretty varied selection, let's do it, and get super pumped for 1999.

*Also note new poll on the right

-M

Breakbeat was dominating British dance parties, and Fatboy Slim was killing it with his funky, Hip-hop inspired jams that pretty much everyone can instantly recognize and sing along to. This track is no exception. He's definitely one of the best samplers the world has ever seen.

Though not French House, Air was right there this whole time helping to develop the French Touch sound. This song rules, you probably already have it.

Meanwhile in Germany, DJ Hell was pushing the German Techno scene forward, and would eventually come up with the worst genre name ever, Electroclash. Despite that horrible name, he made some awesome tracks. Some of his tracks get WAY too repetitive for me (and I can handle really repetitive), but this one's very cool. Great sampling.

When I think of Pop music, I usually think of Sweden (my glorious ancestry!). Fun Fact: The masterminds behind some of Britney Spears' early hits were random song writers from Sweden. Ace Of Bass, also Swedish, released this in 1998. No comment on my particular opinion of them, but once again this post is all about perspective, right?

A Tribe Called Quest are incredible, and have released some of the best produced Hip-hop tracks, ever. They released an album called The Love Movement in '98, and it has this amazing track on it.

DJ Amazing Clay

With over 27 years of experience, DJ Amazing Clay, has dominated the baile funk scene since its beginnings, founding Equipe Curtisom Rio, one of Rio De Janeiro's earliest Baile Funk Sound Systemas. This was his release from last year, on German Baile Funk Exponent label Man Recordings, owned by Daniel Haaksman, it contains some real classic sounding beats, meaning instead of drawing on electro-house they are a little more old school sample based peices with some awesome/raw guitar sampling.
