The end
My computer has officially died, so don't expect any posts from me for a little while, as I can't even listen to any new music, or really any music in general. This is a very said time for me, I'm gonna have to wait a little while before I get a new one, so I would recommend JUMPMAN to post in my stead. This is especially sad as I had made a comittment to doing more posts and I feel as though I was following that plan relatively well. I was also in the middle of making a song that I really was proud of and though had a lot of potential. So for now I bid our readers adieu. Hopefully I'll be back up and running soon.
Sacre de minimale
BIG EDIT: I decided to open up my computer and try to see what was wrong, and after about an hour of painstaking work, I was able to fix the problem. I'll definitely be doing a post tonight.
DLowe showed me this one:
Love Lockdown (1994 pilotpriest remix) by Kanye west, Not the best remix ever but I really like those chords

House Batch #3
My final batch, just had to put up a few more House tracks. Definitely some gems in this one. Also, J's computer is officially dead, poor dude. Looks like I'll be carrying the weight of this blog by myself again, it was definitely nice having someone else post for a few days. It's also gonna put a big damper on our production speed. Hope he can get a new one soon...
-M
Youth Speed Trouble Cigarettes (K.S 'Higher State of Consciousnes of Da Funk' Remix) - Cassius
Wow, this is amazing. Great old school vibe in this one. High acid synth with the Daft Punk sample as the bass.
Dionysus (Original Mix) - Ashley Wallbridge
Massive Progressive track. I know I say this about a lot of tracks, but I hear a lot of Deadmau5 in this one. It's that 3 against 4 thing.
Its Only Love (Original Mix) - Figure and Sleepy T
Really awesome French/Disco House track from one of the contributors to the blog Penned Madness. I'm a big fan of both the track and the blog.
Beautiful U R (Inpetto Remix) - Deborah Cox
Tech/Prog with a bass that I imagine would be so epic on giant speakers.
Stranger In Moscow (Jerome Isma-Ae Bootleg) - Michael Jackson
More Progressive, I think I'm going through a Prog phase.
Spaghetti Circus - Still Going
That NuDisco sound coming from DFA Records. I'm usually not a huge fan, but I really like this one.
Again & Again feat. Sam Obernik (Jean Claude Ades Remix) - LouLou Players, Sharam Jey
Tech House, J will probably like this one a lot.
Chokolatt - 1977
French/Filter House. Probably my favorite House genre of them all.
Korma (Original Mix) - Andycap
Techy techy techy techy.
Blackberry Hype - Maxwell D & Lil Silva
Here's some UK Funky (first time we've posted any if I'm correct), this is definitely perfect for your hipster crowd. We all love Irony. The organ-like bass is awesome.
Afghanistan - Komytea
This one's weird, which is why I'm putting it at the bottom. If I had to relate it to another producer, I'd say Pryda, so if you like Pryda (as you all should) be sure to grab this one. Electro Tech.

Jump Up (Leif Jones Remix) - Major Lazer
Really suprised by this one. Really great mix of Electro and Bmore. The drop at 3:43 will KILL you, it's a shame he waits so long to bring it in. Leif is a Wesleyan student as well, for those who are unfamiliar, and he's definitely stepped it up with this in my opinion.
Disco Decay (Felguk Mix) - Neelix
I love Felguk. This track is awesome, lots of Deadmau5 in there. And this one sample that definitely sounds like it's straight from Phantom by Justice.
Money (The Count Of Monte Cristal 'Dungeon' Remix) - N.A.S.A.
One of the king's of Fidget House making another banger. Super housey too, love it.

Twelves Reasons to love the Twelves
The Twelves:
1. They're from Brazil
2. Look at the setup in the picture, it's beautiful.
3. They make the best synth poppy electro you can find out there
4. They look like really nice guys
5. They're bearded (always a plus)
6. They make great mixes, so I assume they're great DJs.
7. They've made a remix that makes every college kid jizz their pants when they hear it at a party
8. Both M and I like them so: you should like them
9. Did I mention they're from Brazil?
10. They know what's cool (I'm really starting to lose ideas for this)
11. M sometimes acts like a twelves year old boy
12. Lastly, but definitely not least, it's been almost 12 years (or more realistically 12 weeks) since Jumpman has posted. Refer to these posts to understand better: First and second
-J
EDIT: I forgot how amazing this one is:
Thursday (The Twelves Remix) by Asobi Seksu
Help, I'm Alive (Twelves Remix) by Metric, SO good, I've had this song for quite a while, but I never really sat down and listened to it. Classic Twelves.
Take on Me (Twelves Remix) by A-Ha, just incredible. What a great remix of this song, would recommend playing for any set with this kind of happy/feel good atmosphere. This song would just destroy a party in college. People love what they know.
Drugs in My Body (Twelves Remix) by The Twelves, This was actually the song which started getting me into the Twelves. My friend Tony gave me this even before their boyfriend remix. Though I do admit it's by no means my favorite, it holds a sentimental value so I though I'd put it up.
GREAT to play at any party:
Boys (The Twelves Remix) by M.I.A., this should be evident why this would be a good song to play at a party.
Reckoner (The Twelves Remix) by Radiohead, I don't normally approve of most Radiohead remixes, but this one is so fantastic. Really keeps the idea of the original, just makes it a little dancier.
So Far Away from the Sea (Twelves Remix) by Yuksek, an amazing original, Yuksek alone would get me to listen to this remix.
Hurricane Jane (Twelves Remix) by The Black Kids
Ce Jeu (The Twelves Remix) by Yelle, Just found this one, though it's not new, it's great.

We just got Kicked in the Ass
A few days ago I took quite a bit out of my time to look for the promo copy of the new Deadmau5 album, and I was quite proud of myself when I found it, even though not all the tracks were in 320. However, I admit defeat. Our friend over at Temple of House Music just posted the whole album in 320 (not the promo copy).
Well played DjMaga. You made us look like idiots. :) Nah I'm just playing around. Definitely head on over there for the full album in 320. Temple of House Music, once again your blog just seems to reign over others.

Sample Quiz
So this song randomly came on while I was listening to something else, and I realized where one of my favorite electro song got its roots. Of course you could have found out where the electro song got its samples just by looking online or what not. Maybe I'm late to the game and everybody knows the answer to this quiz but whatever.
It was obvious to me within a few seconds of this song coming on, and the winner gets 10 Bastille Love and Admiration Pts. (notice the first letters have been capitalized so you know it's important love and admiration; and M you can't go for it). Write your answers in the comments. I would recommend for those who get to this late to not look at the comments but to first try and get it themselves.
-J
Which electro song and producer sampled quite a few things from this song:
Let's Start the Dance by Bohannon
and for good measure I'll throw in this song too though it has nothing to do with the quiz, maybe someone will hear a sample in it or something:
Foot Stompin' Music by Bohannon
P.S. I've made a commitment to doing more posts, and I genuinely expect to hold to that commitment. However, I'm pretty sure my computer is on the verge of death (seeing as it almost didn't turn on this afternoon). So if my computer dies, and i'm pretty sure it would last another 2 weeks, it's probably going to be a little while until I get a new one, so you can expect at most 2-3 posts until I get that new one.
FIght For You Remixes (+REQUESTS)
I'm a little bit late on this, but I just had to post these. These remixes are great. If you like Progressive House, you will like these tracks.
-M
Fight For You (Sultan & Ned Shepard Remix) - Morgan Page
The best of the bunch, possibly my favorite Prog track as of recent. So amazing. Highly Recommended (I haven't pulled that out in a while, so let that be of note).
Fight For You (Bass Kleph Remix) - Morgan Page
Nice Techy remix from Bass Kleph. Expect a post on this man soon.
Fight For You (Beltek Remix) - Morgan Page
A little Electro touch on this one, though still a Prog track overall. Very nice.
BONUS:
The Longest Road (Deadmau5 Remix) - Morgan Page
I just had too...

New Vitalic
If you are paying attention to the Electro world, you are surely aware of the fact that Vitalic is back in action and gearing up for a new album release, called Flashmob. This is really really really exciting, as Vitalic is a God. I thought I'd share my favorite leaks as we all wait in anticipation.
-M
Second Lives - Vitalic
Much more the Vitalic sound that I know and love. Pretty chord changes, pretty Euro sounding, and Epic. If you don't like this one one as much as his old stuff on the first go around, it surely will grow on you. I'm really hoping that he's gearing up for a world tour...
Terminator Benelux - Vitalic
Totally new sound for him, and I love it. What a ravey sound/line. And the drums are so cool.
BONUS:
Who Is It (Vitalic Remix) - Bjork
So classic. What an incredible remix. Definitely one of my favorite remixes ever made.
Requests
Here at Apes With Barrels, we really enjoy going out and trying to find as much material by one specific artist at a time (hence the Popof post before this and basically every track by Mr. Gartner, though of course you should delete it all within 24 hours or go purchase it at some retailer like beatport...).
With this in mind, at this point in time I want to take a second and really ask if any of our readers have any requests for artists that maybe they have been looking for and can't find or want more of, and we'll definitely get on it and hopefully in the near future a post would pop up with the requested artist (this can be large amounts of their music or maybe an individual track). Though of course we make no promises because, though we consider ourselves relatively adept at finding music (though I'm sure we're not actually that good and that there are many places that we should look but can't even conceive in our minds), sometimes it's just practically impossible to find things. If this is the case we apologize in advance. We also hold the right to deny requests if we don't like the artist in question.
Lastly, requests don't have to be solely artists, we would also love to hear about what kind of stuff you'd like to see more of: minimal, techno, tech house, electro house, plain and simple electro, plain and simple house, disco house, mashups/bootlegs...
Remember Kids, play safe out there. We don't want any eyes getting poked out.
Stay from strange men like this:
-Apes With Barrels
Attention Whore (Lazy Rich Remix) by Deadmau5 & Melleefresh (By the way I accidentally put an extra "r" making it Melleerfresh in the artist in Itunes, but I don't feel like reuping with these horrible speeds at school, so I'm giving you guys a heads up).

If Boys Noize is King of Electro
Then Popof is King Minimal. It's simple math. Not to mention he just looks like such a bad ass, I can't believe we didn't really see him at Electric Daisy Carnival. With his crazy ass clicks, this Frenchman just doesn't disappoint. Just one song after another is amazing. I feel like if you've been reading this blog for long enough, that you'll realize how much we admire this man's work along with his similar artist, Noob (a Noob remix of Popof has been added in for fun, if you want more Noob go here). I have 26 Popof songs, now I'm almost 100% positive that M has quite a few that I don't have, so for your sake I hope he adds some. If you're into minimal then you must have already heard of Popof and have quite a bit of his work, I'm just hoping to maybe get those people out there who haven't heard of him/are looking for more, and for the veterans to maybe find a few new tracks.
Remember kids, don't do drugs.
Here's the master of white noise:
-J
MotherFucking Bass (Popof Remix 1) by DJ Rush, If you don't already know this track, then you have to take this right now, and blast it as loud as you can. One of the most impressive tracks I've ever heard. Even before I liked minimal and Popof I liked this track. This should be liked by anybody who likes EDM.
Mr. Orange by Popof, This is probably my favorite Popof original, probably because this is the song that got me into Popof. But I mean, what a crazy ass song, I just love the bass in the song so much (even though all the Popof basses are really similar).
Alcoolic (Original Mix) by Popof, What interesting sounds, this shit would make me go crazy if I was rolling. Just like wondering what the fuck was going on with all those sounds.
Road Rage (Popof Remix) by John Starlight, This should be self explanatory.
All that Jazz (Popof Remix) by Lutzenkirchen, a new favorite, this one definitely just puts me in a trance. Even while I'm typing this I'm listening to it and just trancing out.
26 songs individually, and you should have every single one.
Here they are zipped.
I want to play a minimal set so bad.

Minimal Batch #2
It is true that Minimal is the new "IT" thing it seems. But for some reason only the more indie Minimal producers are being praised all over, rather than titans like Dubfire, which is a shame since some of those producers just flat out suck. Maybe it's because they feel like they need the promotion more, but I'm sorry I'll never like that track What Is Guru that so many people were raving about as brilliance. Well, enough bitching, here's Minimal Batch #2. Once again, these are not just Techno tracks necessarily, but rather tracks on the Minimal side that would do well in a rave set from names that I'm not necessarily familiar with.
-M
Do You Want More ft. Danimal Kingdom (The Subs Remix) - The Aston Shuffle
This track RULES. This was on loop for a solid amount of time when I first got it. Crazy ass Tech House with all sorts of trippy sounds and effects.
Panzershreck (Original Mix) - PSEUDO-LICIOUS
Woah. Starts off sounding like a Hardcore track, then drops into a super Subby Techno bass, then surprises you with a GIANT Electro drop. This track is the definition of Minimal bomb, definitely has a great title too.
Amsterdam (Riptide Remix) - Jennifer Delano
Rave in a nutshell. Good Electro bass and crazy vocal loop.
Droplet - NROTB
I was so impressed when I first heard this track. The production quality is really top notch. This would definitely get a crowd going.
Ultraproof - Nikitin & Semikashev
Big Techno track with some Progressive.
Heyaah (Francis Preve Remix) - Josh Gabriel & Dave Seaman
You should recognize the remixer as the same man that collaborated with Wolfgang Gartner to make Yin, which was definitely one of the tracks of the year. If you don't have this track, you can grab it HERE. This track is ravey ass Techno.
Panzerfaust - Charles Gudagafva
Techno rules. This track drops a really catchy synth line about halfway through.
Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer) (Angger Dimas Remix) - Freemasons feat Sophie Ellis-Bextor
Somewhat similar to a Dutch House track but less appealing to Hip-hop fans, as it's more Progressive and Techno-y.
Bigger Is Better (David West Remix) - Charles Gudagafva
Techno. I'm quite tired of describing tracks so I'm just gonna give a genre now.
June (Original Mix) - Denis Naidanow
Technogressive?
Dark Flower (Joris Voorn Magnolia Mix) - Robert Babicz
This probably should have made the House list, but oh well. Great Prog track.
Crazy (Coton Tige) - Roman Azzaro feat. Patrick
Really trippy Techno.

House Batch #2
More awesome House jams for y'all to vibe with:
-M
One 2.3 Four (Auditiv Remix) - Martin Solveig
Wow. This track just blows me away. Big Deadmau5 influence in the verse, you'll hear it. Electro House BOMB with Progressive elements.
Gypsy Woman (Sandro Monte 2009 Bootleg) - Mike Polo
HUGE Track, will get everyone jumping on the drop. Very Techy. And I'm pretty sure everyone will recognize the track.
Like It - Poka
Filter Disco House. What a great sample, really great jam.
Break Up To Make Up (Alvaro Remix) - Jeremih
Progressive remix of Pop Hip-hop. Sounds strange, but this would kill at a rave for sure.
The Milky Way (Original Mix) - Inpetto
Great Prog/Tech track. Really awesome. I'm really digging these types of tracks right now.
Right In The Night (Angger Dimas Remix) - Sgt Slick
Tech House, definitely reminds me somewhat of David Tort. If you're unfamiliar with him, check our post HERE.
Still Wild (Gooseflesh Remix) - Gooseflesh
Starts out with heavy Electro, then just drops into such a funky House groove, kinda along the lines of Fake Blood's new EP.
Summer Madness - Starks & Nacey
Really original take on a classic track. Got elements of Disco/Deep/Bmore.
Pianobytes - The Requesters
Very classic house sounding, complete with piano stabs and a repetitive vocal loop. Very nice.
Unleashed (Original Mix) - Prok & Fitch
Interesting track, mix between Electro and Tech.
19 September 2009
Electro Batch #2
Now I'm gonna go around and do a second batch for a few of the genres, starting with Electro. Whoo Pee!
-M
Eye of The Tiger (Hot Noizes Bootleg) - Survivor
Got this from Too Many Sebastians a while ago, and he really described it best: "didn't expect much when this was put my way. But it turns out it's really quite good and ends up going in a direction you just didn't expect. You should give it a listen!"
Stayin' Alive (Teddybears Remix) - Bee Gees
This remake is awesome, sounds kinda like Justice, although the drums aren't as complex.
Still Wild - Gooseflesh
This track ventures between the calmer/funkier Electro and banger, and does it really well. Amazing track.
Darkness (Owl Vision Remix) - Owl Vision
Pure banger, kinda along the lines of Les Petits Pilous.
Maximum Bass (Original Mix) - Randy Santino, DJ Rockid, MC Goodgrip
Maybe this counts as Fidget House, not sure, but whatever. It does have a pretty massive bass, the title is not lying.
Heads Will Roll (Passion Pit Remix) - Yeah Yeah Yeahs
I NEVER expected anything like this to come from Passion Pit. Dancey Electro, not super happy synth pop.
Nitefist - Richie Beretta
Big Electro banger with epic chords, pretty run of the mill.
BONUS:
Sick Muse (Adam Freeland Remix) - Metric
They were giving this track away for free to all member of hypem, and I really like it. Really pretty and dancey Electro. A lot of people I know hate on Metric, but I really do like her voice.
BONUS BONUS: Flat Eric vs. Pharell
Make of this what you will

Fidget House Batch
Time for some Fidget House. It may be a dying breed, but I still love it.
-M
Family Reunion (Dem Slackers Shit Loads Below Zero Mix) - Kid Sister
Sounds a lot like Hervé, and that's definitely a good thing.
I Got U Dancing (Tommy Trash Remix) - Lady Sovereign
This would kill live, such a cool bass.
Take Me To The Hospital (Adam F & Horx Remix) - The Prodigy
So awesome, they make The Prodigy way more ghetto sounding, if that makes sense.
Fokkin Lekker (Kyle Watsons Motherland Remix) - Defunct!

Other Batch
This is my random batch. These are songs that I would probably never DJ in a set, but I just happened to enjoy. I hope you like them too:
-M
Five Step (Overdub Bootleg) - Radiohead VS Dave Brubeck
This is a FANTASTIC mashup. It's amazing how well these songs work together. Well done.
End It Tonight (Seekae Remix) - Teenagersintokyo
I love this song. It's so beautiful and relaxing and amazing.
Under The Sun - Kidda
There's a fantastic remix of this by Hervé, but the original is pretty damn good too.
I'm Not Human At All - Sleep Party People
Kinda like M83, but more rockish I guess. I don't know, just listen, you might find that you just like it.
Alive (Feat. Ratatat) - Kid Cudi
I mean, it's fucking Ratatat.
Witness Dub - Roots Manuva
Cool Experimental/Psychedelic Hip-hop track. Some Dub sounding basses.
Holiday (prod. by Calvin Harris) - Dizzee Rascal
Fun track, not much else to say.
Sunderland - MVSC
Good Electro/Dance Punk sort of thing going on here.
Die Slow - HEALTH
Crazy shit.
Sock You in the Face with Love - The XYZ Affair
J will love this song I think. I don't really like the voice, but there's something about the song that really draws me into it.
South Of The Border - Andy Cato
This is just a really nice, electronic song. Interesting.
P.S.
I might have been drunk for this one too...

Electro? No it's real old Indie Rock
I'm sure you guys all want the best new dance music out today, but I've decided to post basically the only three Indie Rock album that I always come back to after a sea of EDM. Though, and I know some people find this amazing, I can fall asleep to blasting electro beats. It's nice to chill out sometimes for a minute and remember the times that I had with these albums. They're pretty popular, so don't expect anything like hugely alt, but there may be some people out there who might not have had them or didn't give them a good listening to. In fact the album art from one of them is on my back? Sitting down and just listening to these albums is always a huge pleasure which can rarely be felt, it's a journey.
-J
"When that queens daughter came of age, I think she'd be lovely and sutborn and brave, and suitors would journey from kingdoms away just to make themselves known, and I think that I know of the bitter dismay of a lover who brought fresh bouquets everyday, when she turned him away to remember some knave who once gave just one rose, one day, years ago."
Okkervil River are probably my favorite band, even beating Neutral Milk Hotel. For some reason it always surprises me when people havn't heard of them. Their album Black Sheep Boy is incredible, one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard, and it's a shame that they don't have more listeners. Sends shivers down my entire body. Though the album has quite a sad feel, it's somehow uplifting.
Go to this blog to get it.
"If time is my vessel, then learning to love might be my way back to sea." (though it's not from this album, I love that line)
Interpol basically created a perfect album with Turn on the Bright Lights. It has it's sad moments, it has it's uplifting moments, but I will say overall it's grim (even when it's upbeat). In some ways this album makes me angry. As if it's slowly destroying a part of me with it's painful, hurtful idea of the lowliness of humanity and how to act. I'm sorry if that turns people off to the album, it's an experience that you should have.
Get it Here
The shins, are a staple that I've just recently returned to. Something optimistically eerie about them makes you happy but at the same time wondering why you're happy. I wouldn't say the shins have the beauty that either Okkervil or Interpol have, like they wouldn't bring me close to tears or anything, but I could definitely sit content in a chair with a little smile on my face listening to them. I just remember a week straight like 4 years ago when I would sing Kissing the Lipless in the shower every day. They were definitely one of the first bands to get me into Indie Rock, so for that I thank them.
Chutes Too narrow
And for kicks I'll link to this one too because I love it so much:
Oh, Inverted World

Dub Sack
To go along with your next purchase, I made a 20 min mix of all Dubstep, and I called it Dub Sack. It's definitely best enjoyed over a massive soundsystem with subs while under the influence of above substance. I've been curious as to how Wesleyan kids will react to a Dubstep set, so I made this and plan on going into it for the end of my upcoming gig on Saturday. Hope you enjoy the mix, really excited to play it live.

Minimal Batch #1
This does not limit itself to one genre, really, it's just songs that I'd be more inclined to play in a more Minimal/Rave set. Enjoy:
The Queen of The Night (Edu K Remix) - Superpose
Probably surprised to see Edu K on this list, but just listen and you'll understand. The first drop is absolutely killer.
Scaler - Kris Menace
Once again, probably surprised to see Kris Menace here as well, but the first drop is one of the most insane drops I've ever heard. Ever.
Stickin' - SonicC
Already posted this lovely track, young kid from Florida making Dutch House.
Dirty Freakz (Original Mix) - Kid Kaio & Rowel Sinester
Sounds a lot like Afrojack, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Woko Woko (Original Mix) - Joeysuki & Apster
Progressive Bomb on the Tech side.
Make It Funky (Original Mix) - Alvaro
More Dutch House sounds. Gotta love it.
Yes (Matteo Dimarr Remix) - Jay Lumen & Cosmophunk
Mmm, Techno.
Busted (Pete-R Remix) - Muzzaik
J's posted this before, it's really good.
Johnny The Fox (Barnes & Heatcliff Remix) - Dakota
Really massive track, lots of sidechaining. Probably the least minimal of the list, but I still think it fits.
Boom Da (Downtown Remix) - Mixhell
Really interesting track. I don't think I'd ever play this live, but I do enjoy it. Not nearly as good as the Edu K Remix anyways, which you can grab HERE.
Boost Your Mood (DJ Wool Remix) - iPunk
This feels like the type of song that would be playing during a Rave scene in a movie, or in some action sequence. Feels sort of 90's to me.

RIP Elelectro Premium Choice
EDIT: They created a new blog! Check it out HERE.
So, as I do about once every two weeks, tonight I decided I'd check one of my all time favorite blogs, Electro Premium Choice, only to find that it no longer exists. This is a fucking travesty to Blogger and Pirates everywhere. Although, for the brief few days that we here at AwB thought that we'd been shut down for good, all I could wonder was how we got shut down and good ol' EPC managed to stay alive. Looks like they've finally been caught, but they had a fantastic fucking run. They STRICTLY posted releases, and were a fantastic source for albums and EPs. Damn...

House Batch #1
House time.
-M
Alright Together (Goodwill Bootleg) - Martijn Ten Velden Vs. Red Carpet
Super feel good Progressive track with an epic buildup and great vocals (when they come in that is).
It's On You - Le Babar
Lovely Disco House track. So incredibly catchy.
Why Dont You - Gramophonedzie
Amazing remake of a classic Jazz track. I couldn't even wait for this batch to post it, which is why I posted it HERE.
Rock With You (Hook N Sling & Goodwill Remix) - Michael Jackson
PROGRESSIVE BOMB, and a crowd pleaser to boot.
Wedding Bells - Matt Hughes
So beautiful, this one's for French/Disco House fans. Really slow/funky/groovy.
Malibu (Dirty Funker Vocal Mix) - Andy J
Really fun Electro House track.
Love You More feat. Ashya (Club Mix) - Coolfamily
Good mix between Electro and Progressive House (ELECTROGRESSIVE, if somebody can make up a name like Electroclash, then I can coin a genre too).
Funk Phenomena (Starkillers Re-Edit) - Armand Van Helden
Ravey ass drums.
AA247 (Nacey Remix) - Dance Area
It's got some organs and some piano chords, but it's surprisingly original even with those.
Another Step (Mark Simmons Remix) - Oliver Twizt
This track is funny in how inconsistent the sample/beat are.
Waiting For A Star To Fall - Cabin Crew
French Filter House.
Automatic (Douster Africa Remix) - Monsieur Monsieur
This shit's weird. Kinda in between House, Electro, and Minimal.

Breakbeat Batch
I want more Breakbeat, it's just a lot of fun and there isn't enough of it. Or maybe I don't know where to look. Regardless, here are a few tracks that I've found that I think you'll enjoy:
-M (is there any point in even signing these anymore?)
It's the Weekend (Breaks Vocal Version) - Andrew Friendly feat. Fast Eddie
Hard hitting Electro Breaks. I love this shit. The vocals are definitely cheesy, but the rest is absolutely killer.
Gangsters (2 Bit Thugs ReRub) (Dirty version) - Rico Tubbs
Fidgety Breaks? Whatever, it definitely works.
The Party (Splitloop Remix) - Rico Tubbs
I've posted this before, I love it, it rules. This would just destroy a crowd, I know it, but I do have yet to test it out.
BONUS:
The Black Pearl (Dave Darell Remix) - Scotty
Dave Darell, German Electro House genius, does Pirates Of The Caribbean. That should wet your pants if you've been reading this blog for a while.

Electro Batch #1
Time for some Electro. We all love it, it's what got a lot of us into this music anyways. I've got a pretty random selection here, but I promise they're all great.
-M
3 Little Words (Monsieur Adi Remix) - Frankmusik
This song is absolutely incredible. It's gotta be one of the best remixes I've heard in some time. That's all there really is to say, it's just amazing. Reminiscent of Justice in some ways.
Rapper's Delight (Van She Tech Remix) - Dan The Automator
So funky. Van She really killed it with this one, gotta love it.
In The VIP (Project Bassline Remix) - Majestic
Really awesome electro track, I love this one.
Let Me Clear My Throat - DJ Kool vs Da Urban Outlaws
One of those awesome songs that slows down to a hip-hop beat and then speeds up again. You know exactly how awesome those are.
I Don't Care (Tommie Sunshine & Mightyfools Remix) - Fall Out Boy
Totally banger, kinda like a good reminder of what The Bloody Beetroots once were.
Heartbreaker (Jake Bullit Remix) - MSTRKRFT
This is actually a really well done remix. Big props.
Homeless Hero - Bufi
Really light hearted and fun. It's probably Australian.
BONUS:
Shooting Stars (Siriusmo Remix) - Bag Raiders
Yup, you read it correctly.

Dubstep Batch
Ok, so I'm going to do some Batch posts. This is a Dubstep Batch. Dubstep rules, but only if you've heard it live. The bass literally shakes the room, and EVERYONE gets down to it. This is a collection of random Dubstep tracks from people I'm not familiar with, but will definitely destroy your crowd. I'll be posting a new batch every day for the next few days, each of a different genre.
-M
Broken String - Tek-One
FUCKING SHIT THIS BASS IS INCREDIBLE. I was trying to sing it to myself while walking to class, but couldn't since its just like mechanical noises and shit.
Jig - Tom Encore
I heard The Motherfucking Gaslamp Killer play this live. It kills, nuff said.
Calypso (Original Mix) - Excision, Datsik
Mmm, Dubstep... I love this shit.
If Ya Can't Beat Em - Reso
This shit is so nuts, it just drives me crazy. Everyone is high when listening to this, doesn't matter if you literally are or not.
Dem Na Like Me (Subscape Dub) - The Qemists
Roll Another One - Chrissy Murderbot (ft. Hawatha Hurd)
This one has a rap, and is thus immediately more accesible. Also has some Zomby-esque sounds, if you're into that style of Dubstep.
Hide and Seek (Enigma Remix) - Imogen Heap
Just an excuse to play this amazing song. Everyone loves the original, so they'd love to dance to it.
P.S.
I'm drunk as fuck
P.S.S.
Cheers to Just Gravy, No Potatoes for a few of these tracks.

Wolfgang Gartner Is The Cat's Meow!
Why does Wolfgang Gartner kick so much fucking ass? It's because he's the second coming of Christ. Enjoy this track, it's a lot more like his older stuff, which I'm actually happy for, since I like it a little more. I wasn't the happiest with Fire Power, although I DO love Hook Shot. Whatever, he's back to his more Deadmau5 sound, and I think it kicks ass. Enjoy:
-M
Cruelty (Wolfgang Gartner's Mix) - Alaric
Actually, it's the exact same track as:
Cruel World (Wolfgang Gartner Kindergarten Slam Mix) - Dan Saenz, Ron Reeser
Not sure why?

Bro Out To Gui Boratto
Happy 09/09/09 everyone
Gui Boratto is a Spanish Techno man that makes some of the most beautiful electronic music right now. He played at Coachella this year, I wish I could have been there, I heard it was incredible from a friend of mine that didn't even listen to electronic music (now he does). He's got a TON of material, but I'm only going to put up his remixes in this post. You should definitely go get his albums though, as they're incredible.
-M
Mancry (Gui Boratto Remix) - Adam Freeland
His newest track, inspired me to do this post.
Pale Horses (Gui Boratto's Last Window Remix) - Moby
So cool, so haunting. This track is just amazing.

New Dave Darrel
Now we rarely post new tracks by themselves, as we are much more into posting entire collections (we'll see how long we can keep it up before we get shut down for real), but I had to make an exception for this track. So fuckin ravey and awesome. German Tech I guess?

Early Decision Xtreme (EDX)
So, it's been way too long since I posted, but last night I decided I really needed to, so I uploaded all the music, unfortunately however that's quite a task at this school and the estimated time was 3 hours, so I went to bed. After being woken up at 8 by a fire drill, and having to get up at 9 30 for class, I decided to be a sport and actually finish the post now that all the shit's been uploaded.
That up there is an EDX Spectrum, but I'm talking about the artist EDX. I was looking for his bio around the internet, but you know shit happens, and I didn't find it. What I do know is that I basically like every single one of what Danl would call these trance tracks. Has a very Deadmau5 sound to him as well, but more on the progressive side of the mau5. But this is prog house with those tech rolls. Unfortunately there are a lot more EDX tracks out there that I will get at some point but havn't gotten yet, so expect a part 2 at some point. All in 320 though.
Love,
J
Radioman (EDX's 5un5hine remix) by Afrojack, really enjoy this one, especially when the Benny Benassi sounding synth comes in for a little bit to add some flavor. Really impressive drop for what it is too.
Hip (Original Mix) by Daniel Portman & EDX, so cool. so hip?
Roadkill (EDX's Acapulco at Night Remix) by Dubfire, yay Dubfire. EDX remixing the master of tech, it's great.
in too deep (EDX Pinkstar Remix) by Robbie Rivera I like the vocals on this track, and I might like this remix better then the original.
Arguru (EDX's 5un5hine remix) by Deadmau5, not my favorite of EDX's but I'll take it, still enjoyable.
Times Like These (EDX Rerub) by Albin Myers, I might like this better then the original, but I never really liked the idea of the original foo fighters song being turned into a house anthem.
Say Yeah (EDX's Ibiza sunrise Remix) by Yves Larock
Shy Shy (Club Mix) by EDX
Shy Shy (Extended Vocal Mix) by EDX, I don't like the vocals... Kinda reminds me of Funkerman vocals
Rubin (Main Mix) by EDX
Casa Grande (Original Mix) by EDX, This should not be so low down, it's pretty cool.
Premiumline (Original Mix) by EDX
M's additions:
Behind (EDX Remix) - ATB Pres. Flanders
The Take (EDX's Acapulco At Night Remix) - Paul Harris & Obernik
