Spencer & Hill
Spencer & Hill are an electro house duo from Germany, a country which seems to be doing pretty well for itself in terms of this genre being the home of production giants like Klaas, Dabruck & Klein, Boys Noize, etc. They make really epic sounding stuff, similar to the sound of Klaas' remix of Infinity but with different synths. It's the kind of music that just makes you feel triumphant as hell. I apologize for the large amount of songs in this post, but I promise that if you like any one of these, you'll like them all. I AM, however, leaving out their more progressive tracks, as their not as good as their electro stuff, they sound like a Lady Gaga that I'd listen to. Also, due to the number of tracks, there's a good chance that I made a bad link, so please let me know so I can fix it.
Young Love (Dub Mix) - Spencer & Hill
This is truly an epic track. Really catchy chords, perfect for a giant room or outdoor festival.
Shoes (Spencer & Hill Remix) - Tiga
Knowing what the original sounds like, all I can say is wow.
Freeloader (Spencer & Hill Remix) - Dave Darell
So Dance (Club Mix) - Spencer & Hill
This track is more electro, more sidechain, harder hitting, incredibly satisying, despite its poppy buildup. Maybe my favorite.
Most Wanted (Original Mix) - Spencer & Hill
Rave rave rave.
Flat (Dub Mix) - Spencer & Hill
Secret Lover (Spencer & Hill Remix) - Private
One of their more progressive tracks that I really enjoy, as it drops into pure electro house.
For An Angel (Spencer & Hill Mix) - Paul Van Dyk
One Stop Love (Spencer & Hill Remix) - S And H Project
Heavy.
Shine On (Spencer & Hill Remix) - R.I.O.
Same style as their other more epic tracks, but doesn't stand out as much.
Disco Lies (Spencer & Hill Remix) - Moby
This one, however, does.
What Hurts The Most (Spencer & Hill Dub) - Cascada
They remix their fellow countrywoman, and do an incredible job chopping her vocals.

Brother Ali Interview
Remember how I opened for Brother Ali a while back? Well, our friend Mike Rosen at AYHTCM, the one who interviewed Bastille a while back (LINK) put up a review of the show, which you can check out HERE. Also, if you're interested, he interviewed a good friend of mine Wordsmith along with his producer which you can check out HERE and I highly recommend that you do because the track at the end of the post is fucking brilliant.
My Machiavellian Final
As you probably know, I'm in college. One of the classes I'm taking is on Machiavellian literature, in which we've read a selection of his works and letters as well as some other texts about him. He let me make a rap song for my final. It feature's Fray, aka this lovely fellow that's getting arrested in the picture above since he's a thug rapper and all. The only thing left to say is vocoder.

The Comeback Of The Hero
No, not Wolfgang Gartner, but rather Dabruck & Klein, those Germans that have also stolen my heart in the past week or so. Here are some more tracks of theirs to add to your collection. If you missed the first post about them, you can check that HERE.
The Comeback Of The Hero - Dabruck & Klein
Epic.
Silence (Dabruck & Klein Remix) - Hi_Tack
Not quite sure this song is by Hi_Tack, since I'm pretty sure it's a remix of Delerium. Perhaps a remix of a remix? Who cares, this track is gold.
I Love Rock & Roll (Dabruck & Klein Remix) - Alex Guadino & Jason Rooney
Great remix of a classic. Really show off their skill with this one.
I Believe 2008 (Dabruck & Klein Remix) - Celvine Rotane
Happy electro house.
Streetgirls (Dabruck & Klein Mix) - Tocadisco
Exceed (Dabruck & Klein Mix) - Alex Romano feat BT
Bring The Noise (Dabruck & Klein Mix) - Public Enemy
By all means a great remix, but it will always be shadowed by Benassi's simply because his is probably one of the greatest electro house tracks ever made. If you have not heard it, click HERE to grab his latest album, Rock N Rave, via Audible Musings.
BONUS:
Say Say Say (Waiting 4 U) (Original Mix) - Hi_Tack
Can anyone catch the sample? This is Hi_Tack's most famous track.

Round 4: Shapes EP
This is the fourth post on Wolfgang Gartner, otherwise known as the cat's meow. They should make a movie about this guy's life. I'd watch it again and again. If anyone is thinking about gift ideas for me for any upcoming holiday, anything Wolfgang Gartner related would be optimal. He's so dreamy. Here's Shapes EP:
For The Love Of Girls - Wolfgang Gartner
He has a very specific type of vocal sample that he likes to work with, this track is no exception.
Squares - Wolfgang Gartner
Already posted this, but it's on the EP so here it is again.
Circles - Wolfgang Gartner
Trying something new here, more progressive song. However, he manages to keep it from sounding too much like Deadmau5. Good job.

MONDOTEK SUCKS
And yet they are fantastic. I mean not really. But they are...not really. Mondotek put out an EP called tektonik... I think that describes them accurately enough. I was in tony's room and we heard the ph electro remix of the song Alive by Mondotek and its cheesyness just hit us at the core.
Alive (Original Club Mix) by Mondotek The original of this song is actually awesome. Like good job to them, it almost sounds Daft Punkish.
Alive (PH electro remix) by Mondotek I mean this is really ridiculous. But fun, almost like a guilty pleasure.
D Generation by Mondotek Unfortunately I feel like Mondotek was deeply influenced by PH electro (though its probably their own remix). This was their other track aside from alive and well, it's not alive.
But watch this video, great video:
Also check my comment for the actual alive music video

FUNK MUNDIAL!
Baile Funk is Brazil's native genre of dance music, miami bass/b-more style samples infused with a latin beat, and some portugese rap. Began in the 80's and has grown to an international scene in recent years, with some help from diplo. Anyways, it's alot of fun, came across the funk mundial series of EPs not to long ago, released by MAN recordings, it takes electronic musicians, like crookers, feadz, etc. and has them take their hand at some funk production. The Results, alas, are awesome. Here is the Compilation Album released in the last month, that is mixed/compiled by MAN recordings head Daniel Haaksman. featured musicians include: Crookers (really awesome songs, that you've probably seen before, Aguas De Parco, Para de Graçinha, and more, but new edits this time) feadz (samples mozart, yay), The Count and Sinden, Seiji, and Jesse Rose. Anyways, ever since this series of EPs and the highly illegal Eurogirls compilation by Jean Nipon and Orgasmic ive really gotten into the sound of Baile Funk(or apparantly the european take on it), hope you enjoy this>>

In Response To This Picture...
I'm going to post some tracks with a minimal lean. If you heard these live, you'd dance like everyone else, red boy.
P.O.V. (Steve Angello Remix) - Kim Fai
This would destroy a rave crowd no question.
Good Times (Original Mix) - Mark Knight & Funkagenda
What a brilliant sample.
Took The Night - Chelley
Got this from Discodust, oddly enough. I think this would be great for a college crowd.
Cheese (Original Mix) - Afrojack
Afrojack speaks through drum machines.
Back One (Original Mix) - Dario Nunez Feat DJ Nano
These drops will get all the kids in the room to bounce.
And now for some other tracks that I've acquired recently:
Isabel (Original Mix) - Steve Angello
Trying out a tech house sound, I would have thought that Sébastien Léger made this. Cheers to Swehouse for the track. Speaking of Léger...
One More Time (Sébastien Léger Bootleg) - Daft Punk
This is one of the better remixes of Daft Punk out there. Still looking for the one Swedish House Mafia dropped at Ultra, they couldn't have possibly been doing all of that live.
The End (Arno Cost Remix) - Dirty South
Great fucking line.
Can't Sleep (Marcus Schossow pres. 1985 Club Mix) - Adrian Lux
So pretty, reminds of Fred Falke. Cheers to Swehouse. In fact, general cheers to Swehouse since I'm pretty sure there are more tracks in this post that I got form them. They fucking rule. Everyone should check that shit daily.
Pass Around That J Pop
By now I know you guys are familiar with Ayumi Hamasaki, J Pop sensation. Here's her most recent remix album, and I know you've got a few of the tracks on here but there are other remixers that you're going to want, including Armand Van Helden. The remixes cross tons of genres too, and the copies are at 256 kbps and I'm pretty sure are equal to or better quality than the ones you've already got. Anyways, enjoy, I'm about to look for its silver sister CD which has got a High Contrast remix.
Ayu-mi-x 6: GOLD - Ayumi Hamasaki
The Para One Remix has become my favorite, even over the MSTRKRFT one.
Found it:
Ayu-mi-x: SILVER - Ayumi Hamasaki
This one is more pop.
P.S. I couldn't include the album art in the zip because it made the file 100.1 MB and thus too big for mediafire, so just grab it from this post.
P.P.S. They took down the U2 remix post and sent me a very stern email about it. So if you happened to miss any tracks on that post that you wanted, let me know and I'll send you the links, or just go here for some of them. Why did they take ours away but not his...
BONUS:
Laser Laser (Nightbreaker Remix) - Neo Tokyo (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
This track is AWESOME. Very happy to see that good electro is still being made. Can't wait for the 320.

Dirty
Been gone a while, had some car troubles...haha I was disappointed when I saw this picture and that it wasn't some cover to a porn movie. Though I'm pretty sure these is just a drum sample package. I really like how the picture is reflected at the bottom of the frame, really cool picture. A+ But I'm not here to talk about that. The fact is we all know Dirty South as someone who's destroying the Prog-House scene. It seems like an obvious thing to post a long list of Dirty South songs, but we were late to the game with Dirty South. There's tons of his material which I just don't have and am really curious to hear, you can see a big list of them on Discogs Here. I am posting some tracks which were hard to find (relatively, I'm sorry if you have them) along with some old favorites. When I first heard about dirty south, when we saw him play after Laidback Luke (I think), I was impressed by 2-3 songs but not really very impressed. Always wondered why Laidback Luke isn't bigger then dirty south. And I still wonder that, but it makes so much more sense now why I think Dirty South still has a spot which Laidback Luke hasn't obtained (I might be wrong about that, but it was Dirty South playing at Ultra and not Laidback Luke).
In the Dark (Dirty South Remix) by Tiesto Though I know the other half of Bastille knows it, here is his remix of Tiesto which has risen to be one of my new favorites by him, and actually the first track I ever got by him according to my date modified. I guess I just never gave it a great listen. I especially like the end:
The Things You Say (Dirty South Remix) by Cicada What a crazy remix. I first heard this remix at Ultra, and was in the crowd just awed at the simple yet so effective "Do you imagine, you can get away with the things you say" (I think is what is said, but whatever it doesn't really matter) with all that delay on it. What an amazing buildup, and then into a crazy drop. I would consider this a rave anthem for sure.
Alamo (Original Mix) by Dirty South Something Great about this song, definitely one of my favorites of his, its kinda minimal in a prog way. Especially compared to the Tiesto remix, but I think that's where Dirty South is his heading in a way.
Angel (Dirty South Remix) by Dirty South Mediocre
When I grow up ( Dirty South Mix) by The Pussycat Dolls Very interesting track, very minimal in a way. It's growing on me.
Changes (Dirty South remix) by Chris Lake Another interesting song. I wouldn't be surprised if that Pussycat Dolls remix was earlier in his career and that this remix is in between. Really Cool though
Sexual Erruption (Dirty South remix) by Snoop Dog Really cool, took a while to grow on me. There are definitely parts that I like more the other parts. The beginning is not like him at all, it's interesting. Meaning I like the second half better then the first half, sounds more like him that's for sure.
Pyramid (Dirty South remix) by John Dahlback I forgot to put this up, it's not hard to find. At the end of the day, I would always play the original over this, but it's pretty good. Basically just adds chords and some background noise.
I would also get a song called minority (original mix) by Dirty South, pretty cool.
Some more ok stuff:
Stop Me (Dirty South Remix) by Mark Ronson Very electro in a way. But just ok in my opinion.
We are (rip) by Dirty South
It's Too late (Dirty South remix) by Evermore The breakdown is the best part. It's listenable as a song for sure. Just not my favorte line I guess.
Classic:
Body Crash (Dirty South remix) by Buy Now!
Here are some good remixes:
A classic:
Let it go (axwell remix) by Dirty South
Better Day (Tv rock remix) by Dirty South, So cool
I forgot to put it up, I will do so soon but:
Shield (D Ramirez B Movie Remix) by D Ramirez and Dirty South
In the Dark (Dirty South Remix) by Tiesto Though I know the other half of Bastille knows it, here is his remix of Tiesto which has risen to be one of my new favorites by him, and actually the first track I ever got by him according to my date modified. Oh My God, It's The Toxic Avenger!
The Toxic Avenger is one of the first electro DJs we got into and was probably the biggest influence on the Bastille mask thinking back. I remember one night at Jordan's house when we listened to Daft Punk's Alive 2007, parts of Vitalic's OK Cowboy, and The Toxic Fucking Avenger. Thank you, Jumpman. Well, I decided I'd do a giant hypem search and see if I was missing any tracks, and I sure was, so here's all the tracks I found. Also, if you happen to be reading this and are unfamiliar with The Toxic Avenger, he is an essential artist to your electro collection, definitely one of the genre defining artists.
Mora (The Toxic Avenger Remix) - Sonny
Simply awesome, my favorite of these. There's also a LAZRtag remix of this, but its not as good. Toxic kills this.
Ghosts (The Toxic Avenger Remix) - Ladytron
What a pretty voice.
It's That Beat (The Toxic Avenger Remix) - Playdoe
Great party song.
Two of You (The Toxic Avenger Remix) - Holiday For Strings
Defeat! - The Toxic Avenger
Hardfuckingcore
The Lights (The Toxic Avenger Remix) - The Frail
Glitter Pills (The Toxic Avenger Remix) - HEALTH
My least favorite of the bunch, skipable but I feel obliged to put it up anyways since you'd probably rather judge a Toxic track for yourself.

Siriusmo: Some Old, Some New
Well you may have heard about this already, but i feel our blog needs to spread the news as well,
Modeselektor have started a new label called Monkeytown Records, and it has been announced that a new Siriusmo EP will be it's first release, and ive also heard theyll be releasing his first Full Length later this year (be very excited). Siriusmo has long been one of my favorite artists, and this new EP will obviously not dissapoint. For proof of this, check out this new tune from the EP entitled 'High Together' its one of my favorite productions by him, probably ever, next to his Housemeister remix that is. Also go check out "the unvited guest medley" on monkeytown rec's myspace, to get a taste of the whole EP, Siriusmo's definately one of the names that'll save electro for 09.
Siriusmo's real identity is Moritz Friedrich, a berlin-based builder, synth-enthusiast, and grafitti artist (yeah he made all of those weird wolf drawings on his earlier covers) Moritz apparantly hates clubs/criticism/playing live, and as such he hardly puts on shows, except maybe at family events or other forced private occasions. (Man i wish he would play live though, his music is so genius.) Well, we know siriusmo for the funky electro-house hes been delivering the past few years, and we know of his work with Dana, hell im sure it'll all be posted here eventually if you don't, but here is the earliest EP of his i was able to find, Sirius - EP, it's pretty different from his later stuff, more housey, but like classic house, definately can hear his distinct style in it though, interesting to see his start>

Soakers Of The Jeans
Jokers Of The Scene are an electro duo from Canada and are signed to A-Trak's label, Fool's Gold, which has seen releases from Kavinsky, Congorock, Treasure Fingers, and Kid Sister. Now these guys, often abbreviated as JOTS, have an interesting and unique sound, as their songs definitely are bangers but often use chord changes that feel like they would be at home in a progressive house track. They've also been fairly hit and miss for me, personally, so here's my best of.
Baggy Bottom Boys - Jokers Of The Scene
Why we love them in the first place. One of those unforgettable electro tracks.
H Muet (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - The Brash
Their most recent track that I just grabbed today and inspired me to do this post. It's a weird one, so if you're not sold in the begining please stay with it untill then end. I'm convinced that this song would destroy live.
Jerk It (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - Thunderheist
This song fascinates me. The first 3 minutes, despite the fact that the kick comes in and out, is essentially a giant buildup for one drop. However, this song is dancey as fuck. Bravo.
B4U (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - Vitaminsforyou
Prepare for an epic section at 2:18 that's so incredibly epic, that it might even be on par with Conan The Barbarian (I have this poster hanging in my room).
Shake A Leg (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - Water Lily
Awesome sidechained based with great sample work and and awesome part right before the final drop that would get any crowd cheering and might blow some speakers in the process.
Runark (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - Congorock
Simply awesome, similar to Baggy Bottom Boys. They even have these chords that only last a second that remind me of The Prodigy.
Fly Or Bounce (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - Destroy Disco
More awesomeness.

C'est Un Post de TTC!!!
TTC are the kings of parisian underground hip-hop, an electro/house inspired pop-rap trio consisting of Cuizinier (Yelle's less favored ex), Teki Latex(aspiring king of pop/house dj), and Tido Berman as MCs. Usually they are accompanied by DJ Orgasmic, but are also frequently produced by artists like Para One, Modeselektor, Tacteel, among others. They also have had countless collaborations that are all pretty cool(L'Armée des 12 par example). Each of the members have released solo works, cuizinier's being my favorite. I've Decided to post some of my favorite tracks of theirs, i hope you'll see why i like them, if hearing modeselektor drop a couple of these tracks in montpellier that night wasn't enough (bastille>). Anyways have fun listening>
TTC - Ambition This is my favorite song by them, para one raps on this one!
Gorillaz - El Mañana (TTC Remix) Another awesome para one production, absolutely amazing
Modeselektor - Dancing Box (feat. TTC) modeselektor's production for them is so sick
TTC - Coffeeshop (feat. D'Oz) some early TTC back from 2001
Cuizinier - Regarde Dans Mes Yeux Some songs from cuizinier's pour les filles mixtapes
Cuizinier - Summer Love (feat. So Fresh Squad) (Highly Recommended)

Prefuse 73 - Everything She Touched Turned Ampexian
Prefuse 73's New Album Everything She Touched Turned Ampexian hit the shelves this past week. Check It Out (link Below), sure to be huge, for those of you who may not know him, Prefuse 73 (Scott Herren) is one of (if not the) pioneer of the sound which experimental hip-hop has adopted these days, he's a talented dj and producer signed to warp records and has been based in his hometown of atlanta georgia, as well as new york, and barcelona. A truly inspirational artist, i dont even know what to say, seriously tripped out beats with absolutely amazing depth, just let the music do the talking, as a bonus Dimlite makes a guest appearance on the album (siiick). Just got a hold of this, thought id pass it on, listening to this one now for the first time, get hyped.

Dabruck & Klein
Continuing my electro house fetish / house artists posts, I would like to introduce Dabruck & Klein from Germany (aka Duetchland aka The Father Land aka Jumpman's sauerkraut farm...). I promised that I would find out more about these guys when I happened to stumble upon one of their tracks on some blog because I was impressed as hell. Their other tracks live up. Add another name to that growing list of DJs to see before I die...
Everybody (Dabruck & Klein Remix) - Rudenko
I want to play this one live very badly. It's awesome because the line is unique and unexpected. Grabs you.
Starstrings (Dabruck & Klein Mix) - Jody Wisternoff
This track sounds to clean. How do they make their drums/synths/everything sound so fucking good?
Hold On Tight (Dabruck & Klein Remix) - Lambda
It's A Swede Thing (Dabruck & Klein Remix) - Goodwill & Tommy Trash
The Answer (Dabruck & Klein Remix) - Joachim Garraud & CB Lyon feat. Margeau
This one's got a fidgety bass.
Cars (Original Mix) - Dabruck & Klein
Remix of an 80's classic.
Your Favorite Flu (Dabruck & Klein Remix) - Dada Life
We do love Dada Life.
Love You Baby (Dabruck & Klein Vocal Mix) - Out Of Office
Their first track that I got of theirs. I've already posted it in the Eclectic House post, but I figured I'd include it in this one anyways. If you don't have this one, highly recommended.

Daedelus
Alfred Weisberg-Roberts (aka Daedelus) is a Santa Monica dj/producer, who is a master of experimental electronic music, he's released an amazing 8 full length albums in the past 10 years, and i am pleased to share them with you now. He loves the aesthetics of the 19th century dandyists, which shows in both his music and his period costumes. His music is a form of abstract hip-hop using alot of samples from the early 20th century, i.e. 30's or 40s pop, coupled with some inspiration from Drum and Bass and Dubstep. This guy just bleeds originality. One of the most amazing sounds of our generation, and if you get a chance to catch one of his epic live performances do, he's really into doing amazing, and most impressively improvised tricks on that monome of his.
Daedelus - Invention (The best of his early albums ,his first, amazing beats, sound defining album right here, you might recognize the song experience, cause MF Doom and (mostly) Madlib Sampled it for their song Accordion on the hip-hop masterpiece Madvillainy, PS. crack out the opium pipes for this one)
Daedelus - Rethinking the Weather (Cool, but doesn't hold up to invention, or his later releases, but nonetheless a really good collection of beats.)
Daedelus - Of Snowdonia (the most laidback of his album's, though very nice, it's probably my least favorite, some real gems on it are Pocket Watch Pulse, Taking Wing, and Telling Meaning)
Daedelus - A Gent Agent (Has some of the most awesome DnB tracks on it i.e. Am Scray and Turncoats in Tourniquets)
Daedelus - Exquisite Corpse (At this point he's really found his sound, and as such this is the first of a new level for him which is continued in the the following releases. Hip-hop defines this album, but like hip-hop from another time, has some very exciting guest features including none other than TTC, Prefuse 73, and MF Doom, This along with the next two are highly recommended.)
Daedelus - Denies the Day's Demise (Love the artwork, Little Nemo in Slumberland, this album is definitely my favorite of his, just epitomizes his aesthetic, listen to all the way through, it will not disappoint, highlights are Sundown, At my Heels, and Like Clockwork Springs, simply astounding dreamy electronic straight from la belle époque)
Daedelus - Love to Make Music to (the danciest of his albums, fair weather friends, i took two, and Hrs:Mins:Secs, make this a must have. Highly recommended)
Even if you can't get them all now(which is why i did the little reviews) you will want all of these at somepoint.

Headlining A Retirement Home Near You
Bingo Players are a house duo from the Netherlands. They make rave house. I can see any of the following tunes destroying a massive crowd. I bet they'd be fun to see live, I envision them getting really into it. Also, I really don't have that much material by them, so I encourage anyone to please post links in the comments of other songs that should be included in this post, or if you 'contribute' to this blog, please just go ahead and add them.

I Wear My Son Lux's At Night
This post is definitely more for Jumpman, but Ju Shu, you should still take a break from Wolfgang Gartner and listen to this album, even if you delete it after wards for space. Son Lux, or Ryan Lott, is an experimental producer that Jordan Kenna introduced to me. He studied composition at Indiana University School of Music, then just decided he'd make beats instead (could this be the future of Ian Gottleib?). The result is a fantastic journey through ambient sounds, chilling vocals, hell, the album is just someting else. I want to describe his style as Trentemøller does very dark hip-hop, but that still doesn't quite cover it. I've also just learned during my little bit of research for this post that he's done some remixes, including one for Beirut, so I'll go hunting for those and probably add them to this post eventually. Until then, smoke a blunt and bump this:

More Wolfgang Gartner
You know what that means by now, hopefully.
Yang (Original Club Mix) - Francis Preve, Wolfgang Gartner
Another minimal bomb, though I must say I like Yin more.
Squares (Original Mix) - Wolfgang Gartner
This song makes me want to drive really fast.
Bounce (Original Mix) - Wolfgang Gartner
Can you say "Rave?"
Get It (Original Mix) - Wolfgang Gartner
Such cool sounds. And an incredible drop to boot.
And you can check out an interview with our new savior, Mr. Gartner, HERE. Looks like he's going to be touring, and that means he's bound to hit one of the Los Angeles massives.

The Second Coming Of Christ
Daft Punk is God, Deadmau5 is Jesus, and Wolfgang Gartner is the second coming. Every single track is incredible. Here goes his second crusade on this blog (LINK to first post in case you missed it). I wish I could pick out the best track(s) for the people who don't want to download everything, but I simply can't do it. Every track is amazing. He's Deadmau5 with a more hardcore, dancey attitude. Once again, all tracks are highly recommended. All praise Wolfgang Gartner.
Wild Card (Original Mix) - Wolfgang Gartner
OMFG THE BULIDUP
Hook Shot (Original Mix) - Wolfgang Gartner
If Deadmau5 and SebastiAn had a child, it would be this track.
Clap (Original Mix) - Wolfgang Gartner
Epic.
Frenetica (Original Mix) - Wolfgang Gartner
I'm in love with those Disco Sirens.
Push And Rise (Original Mix) - Wolfgang Gartner
Mmmm, vocoder.
Killer - Wolfgang Gartner
LFO.
"Those chords man, somethin else." - Myles Potters
Cold Act Ill (Wolfgang Gartner Monster Mix) - Clasixx
What's he doing remixing Classixx? This came as a complete shock to me. Regardless, the result is a masterpiece. I'm pretty sure our friend Henry From Outer Space used the same sample in his song Get Retarded (LINK).
Funk Nasty feat. Gram'ma Funk (Wolfgang Gartner Remix) - Andy Caldwell
Maybe we'll be able to catch Andy Caldwell at EDC. He's also on OM Records.
BONUS:
The Spell - Feed Me
Found this track in a post with Wolfgang Gartner. Feed Me is signed to Mau5trap. Nuff' said.
Skip Screen
Skip Screen is my new best friend. This is a program or add-on for firefox (sorry safari users, but Firefox is better in so many ways) that lets you skip download times. Here's where its strengths are and special favorite strength at the bottom of the page: it starts mediafire downloads automatically, it starts Zshare downloads automatically and skips the wait time (this has made me always hope to see Zshare links instead of yousendit links now), it starts rapidshare downloads automatically BUT you still have to wait the 50 seconds. Cons: for someone like me who keeps tons of download pages (meaning like a mediafire page) open for me to get later, it starts some downloads automatically, A small price to pay in comparison to the other convenience. It doesn't start auto for megaupload, but once you type in the caption it skips the time. Rapidshare is tricky and took me some time to figure out, you're better off not touching anything when you open a rapidshare link because it will start by itself, and if you touch it it won't download. Still doesn't work with a bunch of sites like yousendit.
They recommend getting Ad Blocker (and I'm definitely going to try it) and something called the Cavern Links Checker (I have no idea what this does, but I'm going to find out)
Special greatest attribute ever about skip screen: Skip Screen has a search. Though I myself would be skeptical to it, it's pretty great. It searches mediafire, megaupload, and it claims rapidshare and zshare (but I don't think so). It helped me find dirty south songs I didnt have, fedde le grande Eps, some Foamo stuff. If you download something from mediafire the page will turn green saying that skip screen worked and you will see a search feature (which also lets you search for torrents). So that you don't have to go download something, here is my bookmark to it: Here

Adam K & Soha
I apologize for posting so frequently, I know I'm putting up an overwhelming amount of tracks but it simply is because my downloads folder happens to be flooded with incredible stuff right now.
Adam K & Soha are a progressive house duo from Canadialand with a pretty similar sound to Deadmua5 but more on the progressive side (think I Remember and Faxing Berlin). Although they do have some pretty hard hitting bangers, they mostly shine through making some on the most beautiful sounding synths in the game. Not necessarily appropriate for dance parties. Props to Swehouse for most of the tracks.
Need To Feel Loved (Adam K & Soha Vocal Mix) - Refleckt feat. Delline Bass
Definitely now in the running for most beautiful house song. The vocals just grab me every time. Don't miss this one.
Twilight - Adam K & Soha
Apparently their most popular song according to Last.fm. There's a Deadmau5 remix, but the only one I found was just the original mislabeled.
Come Fly Away (Adam K & Soha Remix) - Benny Benassi feat. Channing
I know you all love the original of this, even if you haven't heard it yet. Great job turning this into a progressive track.
Cobrastyle (Adam K & Soha Remix) - Robyn
This is the only song I've got of theirs that doesn't contain any element of progressive. This sucker is pure rave.
Nice Boys (Adam K & Soha Remix) - Aaron Studt
This one is a good healthy mix of progressive and electro and is definitely the most party ready song on this list.
Who Cares? Really... (Original Mix) - Adam K & Soha
Pure progressive house.
We Hold On (Adam K & Soha Remix) - Kaz James
Progressive but with male vocals. Female vocals just seem to usually work better in my opion for these kinds of tracks.
4 AM (Adam K & Soha Radio Edit) [Bonus Track] - Kaskade
A remix of Kaskade = double the progressive.
Bruised Water (Adam K & Soha Club Mix) - Chicane Feat Natasha Bedingfield
More prog, not particularly special.
BONUS:
Reach Out (George Duke Remix) - Vangaurd
Awesome new take on disco house, would be popular live.

Wolfgang Gartner
Wolfgang Gartner is a prodigal electro house producer from Austin, Texas, and I'm quite aware that I'm about to go through a Wolfgang Gartner phase. This is the alias of Joey Youngman, some house producer that I've never heard of but apparently is 'aclaimed' or something. He's signed to OM Records, which is the home of Kaskade and Mark Farina, who headlined and killed at the electro house stage at Love Festival last year. Highly Recommended (cannot stress this enough), these are all the tracks I know. If you happen to find more please post them or add them to this post. Also, props to Swehouse for introducing me to him.
Montezuma (Original Mix) - Wolfgang Gartner
At the moment this is my favorite.

Gay Pryda Parade!
Well, his older songs may have a questionable sexual orientation, but his newer tracks under the alias, Pryda, are massive electro house bombs that sometimes crossover to the tech/minimal side of things. Definitely on my list of DJs to see before I die. This track samples a cool tribal chant.

You better get to this post quick before the web sheriff gets to it. I've read a bunch about Tiga's new album Ciao and decided to go find it. I havn't actually listened to it yet, but here it is: removed
310 Electro
Found this blog called 310 Electro which puts up a ton of great electro house, electro, fidget, etc. All stuff that we listen to. The name of the blog also suggests that they're from our homeland, which Sky still insists is not a real place. The other great thing about this blog is that they list all their labels on the right side, so you can zoom to all the posts of people you know you like. Enjoy.

Nadastrom
Nadastrom is an electro/house/rave duo from D.C. that makes some heavy tracks. I've been very impressed with their productions and could see them putting on a great show with heavy banger after banger. They also do very well in Beatport sales, which is cool since I feel like the Beatport crowd seems to favor house producers, but then what do I know about buying things from Beatport. Here are my favorite tracks of theirs that I have:
A Mili (Nadastrom Remix) - Lil Wayne
My favorite of theirs. It has a fantastic distorted ravey bass with an incredible buildup/drop. It also has Lil Wayne, which is an automatic crowd pleaser, but they actually do a significant amount of work on his voice to the point that its almost unrecognizable.
Back Up In This (Nadastrom Remix) - Designer Drugs
The most recent tune they've released, this would actually fit into a house set better. They show off their production skills with fantastic sounding drums, cool vocals effects, and interesting drops.
Raver Lovin (Nadastrom Remix) - Edu K
Starts off sounding like a great house track with typical house chords, then drops into a crazy electro beat.
American Boy feat. Kanye West (Nadastrom Remix) - Estelle
Not as good as Danger's remix (link), but definitely better than LAZRTag's (link). However, its the danciest mix of this that I have. And if you happen to be a big fan of this song, you should check out Procrastination's remix of it in our older post on him. If you still want more Estelle, check out this bmore style remix by DJ Benzi (link), who someone booked at Wesleyan.

I love dance music but...
There are certain things that can never be forgotten in my world. Okkervil River always remains a constant for me. Their songs and lyrics just blow me away. While most people find that feeling with Neutral Milk Hotel (and don't get me wrong I do), this band just has something extra for me then Neutral Milk Hotel, I can't explain it. One of my favorite bands of all time, and as I've been listening to this a bunch more lately here is a short post.
You love a stone,
because it's dark and it's old,
and if it could start
being alive
you'd stop living alone.
And I think I believe that,
if stones could dream,
they'd dream of being laid
side-by-side,
piece-by-piece,
and turned into a castle
for some towering queen
they're unable to know.
And when that queen's daughter
came of age,
I think she'd be lovely
and stubborn and brave,
and suitors would journey
from kingdoms away
just to make themselves known.
Go get the song here.
And my favorite video of Okkervil River along with an amazing song which (Gregory) you need to hear:
I remember sitting watching this video for like 2 days straight wishing I could rip it into an mp3, and then I figured out how to.
How I went from listening to Black Sheep Boy every single day of my life to bumpin dance music I have no idea. I'm not gonna link Black Sheep Boy because I bought it, and I think it's worth buying.

Mickey Moonlight - Remixes
Mickey Moonlight is an enigmatic producer from London, he makes awesome-ly experimental housey/space disco-ey worldtronica, remembered as the "whaaa?" inspiring addition to Ed Banger early last year. He is the leader of a small artist collective, and founder of flesh records, which is the home of Zongamin, another awesome experimental producer with a similar aesthetic, who can also be seen in Mickey Moonlight's music video for Interplanetary Music.
Mickey also toured with Soulwax for Radio Soulwax, so he comes with a pretty good stamp of approval (both Soulwax and Busy P). I highly recommend him, its a really original style and i love the experimental stuff so check it out.
Anyways one thing i've really enjoyed by him are his remixes, So I am giving them to you,

Eclectic House
There's nothing really unifying about this post except that all these songs would fall under house, so I'm calling this the Eclectic House post. Enjoy these tunes, all are highly recommended:
Don't Let Me Down (David Tort Remix) - Eddie Thoneick Feat. Michael Feiner
This is an awesome minimal/tech house track that would destroy any crowd. I have a few more David Tort tracks that are good, but not as good as this, so let me know if you're interested and I'll get them to you.
Love You Baby (Dabruck & Klein Vocal Mix) - Out Of Office
Massive electro house. Going to do some more looking into Dabruck & Klein for sure.
Gum Attack - Djedjotronic
Incredible. Dancey and housey as hell. Reminds me of Shadow Dancer. The best part about this song is that after the intro, I'm pretty sure he never repeats himself exactly, or at least I can't tell if he does. Attention to detail and variation. Bravo.
Robot Replica - Jeff Mills
NOT A DANCE TRACK. I'm actually rather perplexed as to what I'd call this. I guess this is techno? Whatever it is, it's a very fun and interesting listen.
The Sound Of The Big Babou - Laurent Garnier
I really like this track a lot. Really great choice of sounds.

Ras G is a Los Angeles Based, Experimental-Old School-Dub-influenced producer, whos been amazingly prolific in the last few years, with like four or five LPs out. He is part of Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label, and therefore makes awesome trippy as hell music. It's like an astronaut space-walking and lighting up at the same time, which in case you don't understand, is hella cool.

Bullion - Pet Sounds In The Key of Dee
Bullion is one of the more original up and coming experimental hip-hop producer who draws on a broad background in some more classic music for his samples, like in this instance the beachboys, Its a mash-up/tribute to J Dilla where he makes sick dilla-esque beats out of songs off the Beach Boys 1966 album pet sounds, and i assure you it is as Busy P would apparently say "Insanely Good!" (actual quote!)
Haven't Stopped Listening to this one for weeks, look out for the song "I Just Wasn't Made for This Time" on it, it is one of my favorite songs right now
And here's is how i found out about him the equally awesome but more ambient-jazzy remix he did of Ahu (yay), FlyLo dropped this one in his Essential Mix>> I Know All The Bitches - Mr. Beatnick feat. Ahu (Bullion Remix) (love this one)

Mau5trap
I pretty much feel obliged to put up new Deadmau5 tracks every time I find them, simply because it's Deadmau5. How did he make so many solid tracks? I could DJ a Deadmau5 set here if I wanted to, and probably go for about 3-4 hours? Maybe more? I definitely have enough material to sustain it.
Playmaker (Original Mix) - Deadmau5
Got it from a blog called DJ Robson Michael, definitely worth checking it out as i hasn't been around for very long or he just hasn't posted that much material, you could skim through all the tracks in 10 minutes or less, and you're probably bound to find something you want, I know I did.

Everything Is Going To Hell
Rifo + Aoki = Rifoki
I just threw up a little bit in my mouth
Also, refer to earlier post about how Steve Aoki wishes he was a Bloody Beetroot
But I do feel obliged to add that I heard Crookers drop the BBR Remix of Mind Dimension, and it actually was a lot better live, however, that may have been due to another very important factor...
On a completely different note, here's a track from a combination that makes a lot of sense:
Modeselektor + Apparat = Moderat; can't wait to see them at Hard with Deadmau5.
A New Error - Moderat
Beautiful track, highly recommended

Riverside, Motherfucker
That delightful smile you see above belongs to none other than Sidney Samson from The Netherlands. Here's what Mr. Samson does for a living.
Riverside (Extended Mix) - Sidney Samson
Awesome song, samples the late and great 2pac, and would kill in an electro, house, or general rave set. Highly recommended.
Riverside (Rene Amesz Remix) - Sideny Samson
A much housier remix with a buildup, apparently Boys Noize dropped this at Ultra. Other half, can you confirm this?
Swagga Like Us (Sidney Samson Remix) - Jay Z & T.I.
Simple and effective. Would cater very well to a crowd that enjoys hip hop.
