Soakers Of The Jeans
Jokers Of The Scene are an electro duo from Canada and are signed to A-Trak's label, Fool's Gold, which has seen releases from Kavinsky, Congorock, Treasure Fingers, and Kid Sister. Now these guys, often abbreviated as JOTS, have an interesting and unique sound, as their songs definitely are bangers but often use chord changes that feel like they would be at home in a progressive house track. They've also been fairly hit and miss for me, personally, so here's my best of.
Baggy Bottom Boys - Jokers Of The Scene
Why we love them in the first place. One of those unforgettable electro tracks.
H Muet (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - The Brash
Their most recent track that I just grabbed today and inspired me to do this post. It's a weird one, so if you're not sold in the begining please stay with it untill then end. I'm convinced that this song would destroy live.
Jerk It (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - Thunderheist
This song fascinates me. The first 3 minutes, despite the fact that the kick comes in and out, is essentially a giant buildup for one drop. However, this song is dancey as fuck. Bravo.
B4U (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - Vitaminsforyou
Prepare for an epic section at 2:18 that's so incredibly epic, that it might even be on par with Conan The Barbarian (I have this poster hanging in my room).
Shake A Leg (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - Water Lily
Awesome sidechained based with great sample work and and awesome part right before the final drop that would get any crowd cheering and might blow some speakers in the process.
Runark (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - Congorock
Simply awesome, similar to Baggy Bottom Boys. They even have these chords that only last a second that remind me of The Prodigy.
Fly Or Bounce (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) - Destroy Disco
More awesomeness.
