Gennaro Gattuso

I've got to say, I'm very disappointed in Milan after their performance against Tottenham.  Being big fans of both clubs, I couldn't believe how cuntish Milan behaved.  Tsk Tsk.

-M

Control Room (Original Club Mix) - Fedde Le Grand (Golden Banana)
Tech House banger.  Definitely dropping this next gig without question.

How Soon Is Control Room (Bastille Bootleg) - Fedde Le Grand vs. Guetta, Ingrosso, Dirty South vs. Avicii
Actually, I'll probably drop my own bootleg of it.  Hope all you readers enjoy it.

Lights (Bassnectar Remix) - Ellie Goulding (Golden Banana)
Epic Dubstep chune right here.  Her voice makes me fall in love every time I hear it.

Melocoton (Original Mix) - Alex Kenji & Bass Kleph (Silver Banana)
This collaboration makes so much sense.  Nice Tech Hous, not the dark kind.

Through The Prism (Dada Life Remix) - Designer Drugs
Great Electro House in that Dada style we all love.

Voodoo (Original Mix) - Austin Leeds
Driving Progressive House.

Moanin (Original Mix) - Apster feat. Bizzey
Dutch House

Self Control (Thomas Gold Dub Mix) - Dim Chris, Thomas Gold
More Progressive House, definitely on the Housey side.

Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind? (Erol Alkan Rework) - Tame Impala
Electro I guess?  Just more Indie-ish, definitely melodic and catchy.  Erol always delivers.

Neck Snappah - Caspa
Buhwuhwuhwuhwuhwuhwuhwuhwuh

Film Majors

You know who you are.  Don't pretend like you're making any contributions at all and good luck trying to say anything that hasn't already been said a million times already.

Now House music, that's an original medium.  Especially Progressive House, totally not the same bitch with a thousand faces.  Here are some Prog House tunes that sound like nothing you've never heard before.  Promise.

-M

To start, let's do this incredible EP:

In The Red Light (Original Mix) - CJ Stone And Chriss Ortega Feat Lyck (Golden Banana)
Wow.  Unbelievable.  The drop is just incredible, what a fucking sound they made.  Also the vocal chopping, simple but perfect.

In The Red Light (Stone And Ortega Club Mix) - CJ Stone And Chriss Ortega Feat Lyck
Techy remix while keeping the super cheesy Prog buildup.

In The Red Light (Red Light Mix) - CJ Stone And Chriss Ortega Feat Lyck
More traditional Prog sound, very much like an EDX song.

Now for some more totally unique and original Prog songs:

Major Tom (Coming Home) (Adam K & Soha Club Edit) - Shiny Toy Guns (GOLDEN BANANA)
This has become one of my absolutely favorite remixes from this already very established team.  On loop for weeks.  Oddly fast tempo, does that make this Trance...?  Regardless, it's hard to get more beautiful than this track.

My Belief (Jean Elan Remix) - Syke N Sugarstarr & DBN Feat Cosmo Klein
Really sick bass and drums on this one, sort of Able Ramos like but more interesting.  Hate the vocals though, but what can you do.  I just thank God that this is the only Prog song with terrible vocals.

Sometimes (Johan Wedel Remix) - Dim Chris, Amanda Wilson
I just hear this one exploding on a massive sound system, this bass is meant to be felt just as much as it's meant to be heard.  In other words, MASSIVE TUNE.

Shine A Light (David Tort Remix) - Kurd Maverick
More on the Techy side, a lot like Swedish Tech Prog.  The most Proggy track from David Tort I've heard actually.  And the chords, so original!  Never heard these changes before, it's incredible.

Some People Will Never Learn (Original Mix) - Dinka
A track from the hero of Swehouse.  This is one of those Prog tracks that takes me to my mental beach place.  I'm surfing, gliding my fingertips along the face of the wave.  A bombshell in a red bikini smiles at me as a gentle breeze rustles her golden hair.  She climbs onto my board and we ride tandem into the eternal sunset.  There are hi fives and thumbs ups all around.  It's pretty fuckin sick, you should totally check it out sometime.

Best Vocal Tracks

What a boss, keep it comin kid. You've got potential, you've got dreams. I'll make it happen. Your boy J here to keep things ridiculous.

So here i am again. WHAT UP PLAYAS. we got some like vocal tracks for you guys. This is like you listen to these vocal and you just gotta like sing along. There ain't no way that this ain't gonna happen. Cheesy and disgusting, you gotta love it. Put on some of these tracks when you're with your lady friend and shit's gonna go down regardless of what she wanted before it came on. Holla.

Ballin as always.

-J

Some Deadmau5 and Kaskade, because he's got killer vocals.

I remember (Vocal Mix) by Deadmau5 and Kaskade, I mean who didn't expect this to be up here.

Move for Me (Extended Mix) by Deadmau5 and Kaskade, Deadmau5 really just gets the most ballin vocals, and it just adds a lot that kaskade's involved. We all know this one.

But this might be my favorite vocal track. So sexy, so fly, keep it chill keep it fresh:

Need to Feel Loved (Adam K and Soha Remix) by Refleckt feat. Delline Bass, never stale.

Now for something completely different:

Grindhouse (Dubfire Terror Planet Remix) by Radio Slave, i mean this isn't a vocal track, but they just fuckin kill it with the mood.

The Past by Vitalic, You know, killin it. Brings back memories.

Pogo by Digitalism, also bringin back some shit.

Nah nah nah, we keep it real.

I will be here (Tiesto Remix) by Tiesto and Sneaky Sound System, Such a cool voice. By now you should know how much I love this song. Definitely has come to beat the Wolfgang Gartner Remix.

Love Can't Get U Wrong Feat. Angie (Dim Chris Terrassa Remix) by Dim Chris, This has been posted so many times. Should know.

Face to Face by Daft Punk, Wouldn't change a thing, it's amazing what you find face to face.

Come Fly Away by Benny Benassi, in my opinion the best vocal on the album, even though M would say My Body.

Sweet Disposition (Axwell and Dirty South Remix) by Temper Traps, I mean the vocals were obviously good in the original, but they do a baller job of addin to it.

Golden Cage (Fred Falke Remix) by The Whitests Boy Alive, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah YEAH

World, Hold On by Bob Sinclar WE ALL KNOW IT.

Zipped.

House Batch #5

Ok, so now I'm actually back. Christmas and a pretty nasty stomach flu got in the way for a bit there, but my head can actually take pounding four to the floor beats again without vomiting (unless of course it's one of those "OH MY GOD THAT DROP" vomits). Let's celebrate with a House batch:

-M

Love Can't Get U Wrong feat. Angie (Dim Chris Terrassa Mix) - Dim Chris
(Golden Banana)
*Vomit* I'm bat shit obsessed with this track. One of the best progressive tracks ever made.

These Shoulders (Paul Wicked Remix) - Signalrunners Featuring Julie Thompson
I've definitely posted this sucker before, really hard hitting progressive track, though it's only prog in the buildups and in that sot of sinister way.

Chase The Mouse (Original Mix) - Joris Voorn
Really cool House track from Joris Voorn. LOOK OUT FOR HIM, HE WILL BE HUGE.

What U Think (Original Mix) - Dirtyloud
Great Electro House track, sounds a lot like Felguk which makes sense since Dirtyloud is also from Brazil. +10 Bastille Love and Admiration Points to whomever names another song in which this vocal sample is used.

Wavestate - DJ Agent 86
For the Disco House fans, this one's absolutely incredible. A lil bit of Electro in there for you as well.

Listen To The Voice Inside (Laurent Wolf Remix) - Yves Larock & Steve Edwards
Big big big room Electrogressive (it will catch on dammit!) track.

7 Days And One Week (Armin Prayd Remix) - B.B.E.
More standard style prog track, massive and beautiful. Could do extremely well at a rave.

Energy (Voltron Edit) - Devone
Mmm, classic House. Nobody could really get away with playing this though anymore.

Talking Back (Original Mix) - Werner Niedermeier
I guess you could call this Deep House, but it's on the weird rather than smooth side.

Why We Run (Original Mix) - Ben Preston Feat. Susie
Progilicious

Wip Electric (Hot City Remix) - The Funktuary
Strange House track, grabbed me for some reason.

Vini Vidi Avicii

AwB favorite Avicii has absolutely destroyed 2009 and is definitely my favorite producer of the year. He's put out a few new tracks recently along with Sebastien Drums (what an awful name, and the last thing we need is another Sebastien/an, there are already far too many). Enough talk, more track.

Pastis (Original Mix) - Sebastien Drums, Avicii
Big big big big Progressive track. +10 Bastille Love and Admiration points for whoever recognizes the acapella used in the middle, just write it in the comments.

My Feeling For You - Sebastien Drums & Avicii
Taking a classic sample, already used by French House gods Cassius, and making it big room. I approve, though I still prefer the original.

Even (Original Mix) - Avicii & Sebastien Drums
Another big room Prog track. The remixes are better.

Even (Angger Dimas Remix) - Sebastien Drums, Avicii (Golden Banana)
One of those tracks that just reminds you why you love Progressive House.

Even (Mad'ness & Yuri Funky Dub Mix) - Sebastien Drums & Avicii
Still prog, but it's got a sort of Electroy take on it, I think it hits much harder that the original.

Viens Ici?

I don't like that picture.

Avicii is a producer from Sweden who has, at least in my book (pretty sure in M's Book too), come as a close second to our current favorite Afrojack. Avicii is a producer who is relatively hard to define in genre. But if I'm honest he's definitely more of a progressive guy, but he does have his tech house side to him.

Sorry it's been a while since I posted, I explained it was the whole Mammoth thing, and though I'm still in Mammoth, I managed to get shit uploaded.

I have so many songs by Avicii that I'm splitting this into Two days and two posts. My Collection will be posted tomorrow, for today I'll post a good 7-8 favorites.

I hope you enjoy this amazing producer as much as I have been.

Hey and SURPRISE, they're all 320. EDIT, M'S A DICK AND THERE'S ONE SONG THAT'S 192 (but that will be in my collection).

Sometimes I Feel (Avicii Remix) by Dim Chris & Sebastien Drums feat. Polina
My Favorite Song by Avicii, all you have to do is listen to it, and you'll understand why.

D10 (Avicii vs Philgood's Vicious Remix) by Dirty South,
Not my favorite Remix of Dirty South that Avicii has done (I will post that one tomorrow), but it's damn good, plus I do love the original quite a bit.

Music Around The World feat. Teacha (Avicii Remix) by Austin Leeds, Nick Terranova
Classic, more techy but you definitely feel the prog.

One Step Forward (Original Mix) by Avicii,
What the fuck? Where did this come from? Yet catchy in some ways. But still sounds very elementary compared to everything else. ELECTRO

So Excited (Original Mix) by Avicii
So cheesy. Typical Prog Chords. This is actually as far as I can tell a different version of his song Excited, but this one is definitely better. Say you want to see me again.

I think I should post this here because well, I like this better then both excited and So excited. In fact it's just an incredible song:

Excited (Sebastien Bennet Remix) by Avicii, Look forward to this. Such a good line.

Malo (Original Mix) by Avicii
Malo Malo Malo Malo Malo Malo, such a good loop.

Muja (Original Mix) by Avicii, Sounds like TV Rock, so that's always a plus with me.

Don't worry though, I saved most of my favorites for tomorrow. This is just a taste, plus tomorrow you get the collection.
