Cheryl / Carol / Crystal

Like, a big sweaty fireman carries you out of a burning building, lays you on the sidewalk, and you think, "Yeah, okay, he's gonna give me mouth to mouth." But instead, he just starts choking the shit out of you, and the last sensation that you feel before you die is he is squeezing your throat so hard that a big, wet, blob of drool drips off his teeth and just "flurr", falls right onto your popped out eyeball...

Heiress of Valentina (Alesso Remix) - Dune (Golden Banana)
Okay so maybe this would be super gay or something, like I give a shit.  This song is the most triumphant Prog banger ever made.  It came out a while ago but I never got a chance to post it.

Forever (Instrumental Mix) - Wolfgang Gartner feat. Will.I.Am (Golden Banana)
You probably have the original, now you have the instrumental so you don't have to listen to that idiot talk about how he's gon party hard on the boulevard.

Get Funky (Original Mix) - Alex Kenji, Federico Scavo (Silver Banana)
The sort of House music that goes best with a cigarette.  Disco inspired.

Race My Music (Electrixx Remix) - Fast Foot
Some Complextro style Electro House from Germany.

Hurricane - Korova
Pretty Electro track with a heavy ass wobble bass.  Turns out this is one of the writers for Shifty Rhythms, a blog I've been a huge fan of for years now.

Changed The Way You Kiss Me (Kris Menace Remix) - Example
This Techno track will take your ass by serious surprise.  Not for small rooms.

Just The Music (Lazy Rich Remix) - Destineak
Moar dancey Electro House from one of our American heroes.

FYPM (Original Mix) - Firebeatz
Tech House from Holland.

Lotus (Original Mix) - Mumbai Science
Olesdoit Techno.  This is probably old news for most.

Get Out (Darth & Vader Remix) - Lazy Rich feat. Lizze Curious
Complextro from Brazil.  Notice how my descriptions get so much less awesome as the post goes on, sorry apes.

Wayne Rooney

omg...

Kobe who?
It's ok, go ahead and watch it again.

U Can Dance (Simian Mobile Disco Remix) - DJ Hell (GOLDEN BANANA)

I want to say that they're the best Techno out there right now.  It's a pretty bold claim, and we all tend to make big sweeping statements like that daily.  But like, they're the best.

Me & You (Danger Remix) - Nero (Silver Banana)

Are you ready?

I Found Love (Electrixx Remix) - Bruno Barudi

Electro House, great track.  If your read this blog, you probably know what to expect from these guys anyways.

Rollin' Deep (Sgt Slick Remix) - D.O.N.S. & Shahin feat. Seany B. (Silver Banana)

House, awesome, disco vibes.  Big Room style too.  I also enjoy the title, because to Bastille, Rollin' Deep means blasting intimidating Techno or extremely abrasive Dubstep while driving and ever breaking eye contact with the person in the car / walking next to you.

Goron Mountain (Original Mix) - Pointblank

Cool Electro House track from an up and comer I discovered from Massachusetts.  Definitely grab this one.  Also be sure to check out his SOUNDCLOUD.

Triangle (Original Mix) - Kris Menace

Massive Progressive House track, reminiscent of Pryda.  This also feels like it could have been in Tron.

Oh Yeah (Original Mix) - Swanky Tunes

Rave House.  I don't really know how to classify this sort of stuff.  It's got that Dutchy boom ba dum ba boom thing, and it's minimal and super dancey.  This is totally something Steve Angello would drop.

Can U Handle It (Original Mix) - Umek, Tomy DeClerque

For the Techno heads out there.

She Said (16Bit Remix) - Plan B

Because somebody always wants Dubstep (you know who you are).

On Our Own (Extended Club Version) - Bobby Brown (New Jack Swing Banana)

A gem from the Ghost Busters 2 soundtrack.  Cheers to gLAdiator for this one.

Speaking of gLAdiator, here's a sick Dubstep mix from one of their members that dropped today:

Everyone Gets Dubstep Again 2 by Ramses (of gLAdiator)

Roy Batty

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.  Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.  I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.  All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

Bromance (The Love You Seek) (Avicii's Vocal Extended) - Tim Berg (Golden Banana)
For those of you that don't have the vocal mix.  One of the best Prog House tracks around right now.

Cobra Charm (Original Mix) - Tim Green (Silver Banana)
One of the most underrated producers in the blog world.  I rarely ever see his name pop up except on the housiest of blogs.  Electro kids, time to grow up.

The Phoenix Alive (Kris Menace Mix) - Monarchy
Electro House on the Nu-Disco side.

Firecracker (Ravid & Fabian Remix) - Syndaesia
DUUUUUUUUUUBBSTTETEEPEPTPEPTEPTEPTESBSUBDUB!

Solitude Is Bliss (Mickey Moonlight Remix) - Tame Impala
This is for you, Jumpman.  For everyone else, if you like psychedelic music, you'll like this.

Envy (Owl Vision Remix) - STYGG
Very uptempo heavy Electro.

Sunshine (Ernold Sane Remix) - Rye Rye feat. M.I.A.
Some Funky for the hipsters.

Dreamer (Sgt Slick Remix) - Tune In Tokyo
Progressive House, some really interesting sounds in this one.  This dude's been doing pretty well on Beatport.

Tweet It (DBN Remix) - Tim Berg, Norman Doray, Sebastien Drums
More Progggggggggggg!

Limit Is The Sky (Original Mix) - Swanky Tunes
MOAR PROG!

Minimal Batch #1

This does not limit itself to one genre, really, it's just songs that I'd be more inclined to play in a more Minimal/Rave set. Enjoy:

The Queen of The Night (Edu K Remix) - Superpose
Probably surprised to see Edu K on this list, but just listen and you'll understand. The first drop is absolutely killer.

Scaler - Kris Menace
Once again, probably surprised to see Kris Menace here as well, but the first drop is one of the most insane drops I've ever heard. Ever.

Stickin' - SonicC
Already posted this lovely track, young kid from Florida making Dutch House.

Dirty Freakz (Original Mix) - Kid Kaio & Rowel Sinester
Sounds a lot like Afrojack, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Woko Woko (Original Mix) - Joeysuki & Apster
Progressive Bomb on the Tech side.

Make It Funky (Original Mix) - Alvaro
More Dutch House sounds. Gotta love it.

Yes (Matteo Dimarr Remix) - Jay Lumen & Cosmophunk
Mmm, Techno.

Busted (Pete-R Remix) - Muzzaik
J's posted this before, it's really good.

Johnny The Fox (Barnes & Heatcliff Remix) - Dakota
Really massive track, lots of sidechaining. Probably the least minimal of the list, but I still think it fits.

Boom Da (Downtown Remix) - Mixhell
Really interesting track. I don't think I'd ever play this live, but I do enjoy it. Not nearly as good as the Edu K Remix anyways, which you can grab HERE.

Boost Your Mood (DJ Wool Remix) - iPunk
This feels like the type of song that would be playing during a Rave scene in a movie, or in some action sequence. Feels sort of 90's to me.
