FUKKK OFFF

Learning about something new is cool. But nothing beats the feeling of unexpectedly discovering something completely different! Well that’s how I felt when I downloaded my first track from a brilliant blog (which you undoubtedly already heard of) YOUCANCALLMEPELSKI. But I’m not here to talk about the blog! Instead I’m going to talk about the producer that took me on a musical journey! Taking me from the african drum beats with lyrical wordsmithers to the uncharted and unknown island of musically mad men, breaking the boundaries of sounds, distorting, chopping, filtering, modifying and combining all sorts of natural sounds and turning them into forsaken monstrosities.Who is this great captain you ask? Fukkk Offf.

Although Fukkk Offf has been around for a long time I decided to write an article about him when it came to my attention that before my Gooseflesh article we at AWB hadn't posted anything about 'Captain' Fukkk Offf !!! Yes, I know, Its a sad world! But don't worry, Simple P is here! To spread bleeding ears, aching feet and set decks on fire!

Out of all his gems in my eyes his most precious is I’m a Freak, complete banger unbelievable bassline, catchy lyrics, a wicked incorporation of a normal drum kit (and by that I mean the high hats). Only downside is that its too long and repetitive... but then again what kind of DJ plays a full 7 minute track in a set? Sorry What was that? Yeah thought so NONE!

Regarding his EP WORLDWIDE. Personally..... To put my opinion in a nut shell.... This EP is more experimental, less ravy and not as dirty as his older stuff.
