Gunther

So I closed out the Risky Fresh Eurotrash party last night.  It was unbelievable.  I'm also going to be headlining at FLUX | A MASS EDMC EVENT next Friday, so if you're in the Massachusetts area you should come out.  The promoters interviewed me, so if you're interested you can check that out HERE.  My head hurts a lot after that blue Four Loko I crushed last night, so track descriptions will probably be lacking, but here's your Sunday dose.

The Island - Pendulum (GOLDEN BANANA)
I dropped this last night.  9 mins track.  Cheesy first half, NUTS second half.  This track is really incredible, and was so perfect for Eurotrash.

Lesbian Bondage Fiasco (Original Mix) - Aniki (Silver Banana)
AMAZING chopped Disco House.  He definitely tried to pull a Barbara Streisand though.

Bit This Thin (Tony Senghore Remix) - Djedjotronic
Electro Techno.  I love it.

Bit This Thin (Original Mix) - Djedjotronic
And the original.  Techno.

Sanity (Adam K & Soha Vocal Club Mix) - Adam K & Soha Ft. Hannah
Progressive Dutch House?

KMA - Autoerotique & SonicC
Dutch House.

Here He Goes (Original Mix) - Dusty Kid & Grooviera
Tech House.

Feel The Love (Sunloverz Remix) - Aboutblank & KLC
House, classic feel.  I wouldn't play it, but I can see that someone definitely would.

Rainbow would be the best noun to illustrate an artist that has been through it all, you name it odds are he’s probably already done it. Described as a Veteran DJ and Music ambassador since he was in short trousers. From a simple white canvas with a few amateur drawings to a colorful Master Piece.

As a Painter the master piece that put him on track was his live performance at Zap Club in Brighton in 1988. Where he decided to turn the heat up by spinning with 3 vinyl decks, making 15000 knocked up ravers get back up on their already swollen feet. From there on he’s been enjoying a wide variety of scenes, such as djing at SW4, WMC, The Arches, Matter, the Global Gathering which are nothing but baby steps when compared to his respectable record of djing in Ibiza for 8 years in a row. As if the festivals weren’t a colorful palette, Mr Carl Cox has been spotted djing alongside Fat Boy Slim, Francois Kevorkian, Laurent Garnier, Fedde Le Grand, Green Velvet, Pendulum, Plump Djs and many others.

Rainbow Man’s I Want You dropped in 1991 top 30 hits under the Perfecto Label. Not really feeling the sounds of trance and ‘fluffy’ house of the time, he turned back to the underground world where he met his true love, TECHNO. Ever Since he’s been spinning techno bangers as if they we’re nothing but doodles in a white canvas. I Want You track has been remixed by the mighty Deadmau5 and has remixed Moby’s Walk With Me from a sophisticated track into a certified techno banger. 2006 saw the celebration of Carl Cox's own label Intec Records drop it's 50th release Sebastien Leger's Bad Clock.

Carl Cox is a man of quality not quantity, his experience as a dj has given him an ear for selecting quality tunes. Thus I strongly recommend to keep and eye out for his top charts on beatport and his mixes on b@Tv.

Drum & Bass Batch #2

Another selection of Awesome DnB tunes which have piqued my interest lately, found that Apex remix last night on London Elektricity's Myspace, and it totally blew me away, absolutely beautiful vocal track, got me looking for some comparably good material to post along with it, luckily I ended up finding some tracks, hopefully i can find more soon, got to love UK dance music, all the breaks and the wobbly basslines. Makes me hungry for some Fidget&Dubstep as well. And, in case you missed it, you can find #1 of the Drum & Bass batches HERE, Enjoy!>>>
