Martyn is a Dutch-American Dubstep DJ/producer with origins in the world of drum and bass. A few weeks ago he came out with the highly anticipated album 'Great Lengths' on his own label '3024'. I was very excited to see this LP had been released after seeing his remix for Flying Lotus on LA EP 2x3, and was overall pleased with the release, his sound has the coolness of house, and the ghostly synths of flylo (thinking along the lines of 'Breathe Something / Stellar Star), with these awesome dubstep beats, beware though, for the most part all the tracks are pretty solid, but a couple were swing-and-a-miss, like 'these words' with d-bridge, not for me, but the album is made a must have in your dubstep repetoire if not simply for the songs 'Is This Insanity' with the Spaceape or Natural Selection (that voice is...so cool)
